Ignoring the question of whether he will go to prison (I think there's a good chance, crazier people than him get thrown in the penal system every day)- If he does:
I don't think it would be as bad for him as others seem to think. He won't really have to do anything but will be put in a regime. His needs, such as they are, will be taken care of and he will have a routine. I'm sure he won't be happy or thriving but his life isn't great anyway. His internet usage will likely be restricted and monitored or prevented. He's unlikely to get seriously killed, raped, etc. First of all, the whole idea of prisoners all getting raped when they walk in is some weird social-fantasy in American culture. Most people who get tyroned in prison were, in some fashion, along with the program (can still technically be rape but not the kind most people think of- more like sexual favors for protection, drugs, etc). Even kid diddlers tend to get beaten or murdered rather than raped because they're disgusting, loathsome people who not everyone wants to stick a dick in.
And CWC would probably not be in gen pop of a high security prison. All in all you could probably put a fence around him and he wouldn't get out.
Might he get assaulted? Eh, maybe. It's not like there aren't crazy people already in prison so he's not that special. Annoying people are already there, too. And maybe some corporal punishment might do him good and teach him some boundries. I don't think anyone's going to try and shank him to get him to shut up about neptunia, as much as that might seem satisfying. Again, probably not housed with lifers. Probably housed with other freaks.
The ideal solution for Chris (ignoring justice, etc) would probably be some sort of forced institutionalization with round-the-clock supervision and medical treatment. But that's unlikely. If I had to pick between the one he could be in- fucking his mother in a pig stye until she dies and then being left largely on his own while his world collapses around him- or getting 3 squares a day but not being able to play with all his toys, I think he's better off in the penal system.
