But the fact that even somewhere like r/TwoXChromosomes is nothing but a troon hugbox is amazing given that it is named after a biological reality showing troons can't actually become women.

I'm a woman and this happened to every single space for women that I belonged to online. I belonged to a makeup group and women posting pictures of elaborate makeup jobs became dudes posting pics of badly applied eye shadow fishing for compliments. It was especially annoying because the members were harsh in their critiques, except when it came to troons.

Sorry to resurrect this from a few weeks ago, but it is funny you bring Sacha up here because his brother, Simon, is a well-known academic who has published about how trannies are just autists with a gender-special interest in Nature, a household-name journal with an enormous impact factor. (For those unfamiliar with author order convention, Simon’s name being listed last typically indicates that he was the principal investigator; first author was likely his grad student)

It may be worth noting that this (and similar papers) was received positively by the LGBT community - rather than "autistic people are more likely to think they're trans", it's "trans and non binary people are more likely to be autistic".

The biggest concession I've heard is that neurodiverse people are used to questioning social norms, and so upon discovering they possess a diverse gender identity they're more likely to accept it over attempting to repress like those boring neurotypical people. Mostly it's an idea that it's another form of intersectional oppression that needs special protections and there's even a fun term for it - "neuroqueer". I point you towards this 2015 book:


Dr. Nick Walker, professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies (where he teaches undergrad Psychology and a research associate with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) defines Neuroqueer (or the verb form, as in neuroqueering) as the following:

1. Being both neurodivergent and queer, with some degree of conscious awareness and/or active exploration around how these two aspects of one’s being entwine and interact (or are, perhaps, mutually constitutive and inseparable).
2. Embodying and expressing one’s neurodivergence in ways that also queer one’s performance of gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and/or other aspects of one’s identity.
3. Engaging in practices intended to undo and subvert one’s own cultural conditioning and one’s ingrained habits of neuronormative and heteronormative performance, with the aim of reclaiming one’s capacity to give more full expression to one’s uniquely weird potentials and inclinations.
4. Engaging in the queering of one’s own neurocognitive processes (and one’s outward embodiment and expression of those processes) by intentionally altering them in ways that create significant and lasting increase in one’s divergence from prevailing cultural standards of neuronormativity and heteronormativity.

Just as the prevailing culture entrains and pushes people into the embodied performance of heteronormative gender roles, it also entrains and pushes us into the embodied performance of neurotypicality—the performance of what the dominant culture considers a ‘‘normal’’ bodymind. And just as heteronormativity can be queered, so can neurotypicality: we can subvert, disrupt, and deviate from the embodied performance of being neurocognitively ‘‘normal.’’ That’s neuroqueering (or being neuroqueer).

When I say that a future society that’s been transformed by the neurodiversity paradigm would be a neuroqueer society, what I mean is that in such a society there would be no such thing as neurotypicality, no such thing as a ‘‘normal mind.’’ It would be commonplace for people to regard their own minds and embodiments as fluid and customizable, as canvases for ongoing creative experimentation, in much the same way that more and more people are doing with their genders. I should note here that part of the idea of neuroqueerness is that heteronormativity and neurotypicality are inextricably entwined with one another, and to queer one is inevitably to queer the other to some degree. In addition to embracing both gender-fluidity and neurofluidity, a neuroqueer culture would recognize gender-fluidity and neurofluidity as being entwined and as synergistically interacting with one another.

In terms of pitfalls to be guarded against, I’d say the big one these days is the far-too-common trend toward viewing neurodiversity through a lens of neuroessentialism, in which all people are seen as divided into rigidly defined, innate, and largely immutable categories or ‘‘neurotypes’’—that is, each person is categorized as fitting permanently into the box of ‘‘neurotypical,’’ or the box of ‘‘autistic,’’ or the box of ‘‘ADHD,’’ or what-have-you, depending on what ‘‘type of brain’’ they were born with. This sort of essentialism is n’t much different from the gender essentialism that seeks to permanently assign each person to the narrow category of either ‘‘male’’ or ‘‘female’’ depending on the shape of the genitalia they’re born with.

Such neuroessentialism is inimical to neuroqueering, to creative neurofluidity and creative hybridity. I’m already seeing some people criticize or reject the neurodiversity movement, or even the very concept of neurodiversity, because it’s too associated with essentialism and with sorting people into rigid categories by ‘‘type of brain.’’ But that sort of essentialism is by no means inherent to the neurodiversity paradigm; on the contrary, I think that to some degree it’s a relic of the pathology paradigm that the neurodiversity movement just hasn’t managed to finish outgrowing yet. Until we do outgrow it, it’s a pitfall that has the unfortunate potential to derail our journey toward a neuroqueer future.

I’m not saying that it’s not useful for people to recognize themselves as autistic or dyslexic or whatever. When not pathologized or stigmatized, such categories can be enormously valuable. It’s certainly been useful to me to understand myself as autistic. I’m saying that our conception of neurodiversity shouldn’t be limited by such categories, just like our conception of gender and sexuality shouldn’t be limited by the categories of male, female, gay, and straight.

The differences between autistic bodyminds and nonautistic bodyminds are very real, and yet at the same time autism is a culturally constructed category that won’t necessarily last forever or be culturally relevant forever. A hundred years ago, in the days of Sigmund Freud, physicians and psychologists never imagined that the ‘‘illness’’ they referred to as ‘‘hysteria’’ was a cultural construct that would someday be regarded as a laughably archaic bit of sexist pseudoscience.

Will autism still be regarded as a useful and valid category 100 years from now, or 300 years from now? I have no idea. But I do believe that the concept of neurodiversity, understood in a nonessentializing way that allows for fluidity and promotes neurocosmopolitanism and neuroqueering, has farreaching implications and transformative potentials that extend beyond any given system of categorization. I can’t say for certain what scientific research on neurodivergence would look like in a truly neurocosmopolitan and neuroqueer academic culture—but if we keep doing what we can to move the discourse in that direction, someday we might get to find out.

To think that just months ago I thought radical feminists were insane, but now that I've actually listened to their thoughts firsthand instead of out-of-context screenshots regurgitated by wokies, I find myself agreeing with them on many topics including those not related to troonism, such as pornography and prostitution being both causes of and products of sexual exploitation. Troons call themselves "sex positive" for doing OnlyFans and promoting "sex work," but the reality is that "sex work" doesn't empower women, it disenfranchises them. When you normalize "sex work," every woman is then perceived as having a price. Have you noticed that when OnlyFans got popular, it quickly became extremely common to harass women with jokes about how she should start an OnlyFans? Imagine this, but with fully legalized prostitution.

The farms getting deplatformed by Cloudflare was a major push towards my peaking. I can't pinpoint the one thing that peaked me but when it did, it was as if all the other annoyances with troons immediately came crashing down. It also heavily intersected with their views on capitalism and sex.

Sex supposedly isn't real and there is no wrong way to look like or be a man or woman yet mastectomies, penectomies, breast implants, etc are "life saving surgeries." Murders on transgenders occur at extremely low rates, but when they do, it is most often on transgender prostitutes because prostitution is an extremely dangerous job that only the most desperate people turn to. But instead of focusing any energy on the issue of prostitutes being beaten and murdered by Johns and why that may be, JK Rowling is literally Hitler and playing Hogwarts Legacy makes you a nazi (but sexual predators are never canceled this hard). Sadistic porn subreddits are allowed to say "videos of cis women only," yet communities made by and for biological women are shut down for being "transphobic." Communities for real lesbians are deplatformed for being "transphobic," yet the most genuinely misogynistic, misanthropic pornography that very well could be real women (OR UNDERAGED GIRL) being for real raped and traumatized for life is allowed to stay. Sex positivity, everyone! Sex positivity should be about how sexuality is just a normal part of the human experience and isn't inherently shameful, but liberals turned it into "you must be open to the idea of anal gangbangs on camera in public or else you are a fundie Christian homophobic prude."

It is true that there is no wrong way to be a man or a woman, but not in the way troons say. Troons say that womanhood is attainable simply by saying "I am a woman," even if you are born male, perform male social roles, and don't shave your face. The reality is that there is no wrong way to be a man or woman as in the manliest women and most effeminate men are still women and men, because they were born female and male respectively.

Most girly boys or tomboyish girls do not troon out later in life and most kids, especially girls, experience a lot of emotional discomfort during puberty. For thousands of years this was a rite of passage that everyone just grows up with as they become adults, but because of the troon movement they are instead groomed into irreversible lifelong consequences. Kids are being trooned out before they even know what their private parts are. You cannot explain human sexuality and its significance to potential future relationships to a 10 year old. First off, to do so would be considered borderline pedophilic. Secondly, even if you did they just wouldn't get it. This is inherently incompatible with informed consent.

Ironically, despite most troons identifying as anticapitalist, the troon movement (which heavily overlaps with the movement of trying to legitimize "sex work is real work") also helped me realize the degeneracy of unrestrained capitalism. All troon procedures are just extreme forms of body modification that have no right to be covered under insurance or a public healthcare system. And what is more capitalistic than selling people the idea that they need to buy a specific fashion and cut up their bodies in order to be happy? What is more capitalistic than undoing every taboo so that gross hedonism can be sold to society? I remember the gist of it being that Marx theorized that the fundamental problem with capitalism is that it causes "alienation." It alienates people from the process of work, it alienates people from the products of their work, it alienates people from society, and it alienates people from themselves, their own human nature. Troonism is then an extreme form of alienation from the self, where they are alienated from their own body, and buy all sorts of junk and cosmetic procedures in the search to "correct" this perceived discrepancy.

They are also very good at destroying human relationships, as is demonstrated in every thread about them.

Like Procrastinhater said earlier, I don't think I've hit the peak yet. I don't even think there is a peak. It just keeps getting worse and worse. Every time I think to myself there's no way for trannies to sink any lower, they bust out the jackhammers and keep digging.

I don't think there was ever a time where I didn't think trannies were weird. I always knew it was all mentally ill post-modernist shit, but for the longest time I just kind of ignored them. It was only a few years ago that they were mostly confined to Tumblr and other niche blogging sites, and they were almost universally mocked and laughed at. Everyone I knew agreed that it was totally ridiculous, and it was okay to ridicule them.

The change was nearly instant. Suddenly we went from "haha, those weird Tumblrinas" to "don't ever say anything bad about trans people, they're totally heckin' valid and you're a bigot." I can't even pinpoint exactly where this change occurred, though it seems to have happened right around the time Bruce Jenner "came out" as a true and honest woman. Anyone with eyes could see that this was clearly a washed-up athlete, far past his prime, pulling a desperate act to gain some semblance of fame again, but it worked, and it worked brilliantly. "Caitlyn" Jenner was now a brave and courageous hero, and anybody who cast even the slightest bit of doubt was labelled an evil right-wing bigot. That's probably the moment when I went from uninterested dismissal to intense skepticism.

It just kept snowballing from there. Every day there was some new act of troonery that, to me, seemed so blatantly, obviously disingenuous and malicious, and yet, no matter what, people were told not to ask questions. Don't believe your lying eyes. Trans women are women, damnit! More and more I grew deeply distrusting towards the trans crowd. I think the final kicker for me was our very own Chris Chan. Here we had someone who was clearly and undeniably mentally ill. This was a man who literally claimed, among other things, that his shitty characters were real and communicated with him, that he had the power to curse and bless people, that he could command the ghosts of his dead father and dog to assail people he didn't like, that he was to be the catalyst of a great "dimensional merge," that he was regularly "possessed" by the characters he created and that they would speak through him, and that he was the reincarnation of Jesus here to bring about the rapture. Surely this man, this obviously deranged, deluded, mentally fucked-up man, would not be accepted as a valid member of the trans movement, right?

Wrong. He was accepted uncritically, without question by the trans mob. Even after he fucked his own elderly mother with his "feminine penis" the trans mob still would not disavow him. That was the final straw for me. I knew right there and then that this was a group of malignant narcissists, desperate to claim anyone and anything to validate their own positions, abandoning all pretense of morality, decency, objectivity, and sanity to sate their own egos. There is no end to their depravity, no bottom to the depths of their insanity, and no guiding principles beyond "whatever makes me happy." Hell, even that last one is tenuous, because these people are so enamored with the trans cult that they will sacrifice their own happiness and prosperity just to stick it to the mean old transphobes.

Even then, it never ends. It just keeps getting worse. Every day they sink to new lows, and at this point, at the risk of sounding hyperbolic and melodramatic, I am convinced that these people are just pure evil. Whatever shred of humanity that once inhabited their bodies has long been abandoned. They are the purest expression of narcissism one could ever ask for, and there is nothing you can say or do to change my mind.

Without PLing too hard I guess I can think of when I hit peak trans. I like to write and sing and unfortunately creative spaces are full of gender specials of all ages. I've always been a person who doesn't care what others do as long as it isn't pestering me or, like, illegal.

A lot of my friends started out as normal, albeit awkward, 20something women in the roleplay-sphere who were probably autistic and filled to the brim with trauma. So when 2015 rolled around, I noticed a lot of them starting to go by they/them and shit and I was like, well they're my friends so whatever. But then EVERYONE started doing it. That was kinda how I learned about the Fujo to Troon Pipeline. One even had her husband Troon out right after she came out as an "enbee icon bay-beeee,".

As time has gone on, those people have all turned into fat monsters who are too mentally ill to work or have panic attacks whenever someone talks to them at a job or questions their dangerhair. Having my social feed filled with nothing but tranny whining. Now my singing circles are full of troons who have full on meltdowns when people want "cis female" voices in their work instead of HRT pooner frog voice and fake manly gravel that ruins your voice.

If troons would stay the fuck out of my spaces, I'd be a slightly less cynical person but not by much.
