Where do you want to get Married? - Honey nooners only.

I don't want or see myself getting married. Should I ever change my opinion in the future, somewhere quiet and pastoral that doesn't involve a ton of money or people, maybe by a lake.

We had a ceremony in an old reataurant, officiated by an old friend who looks like Satan. I remember bits and pieces

Our legal marriage was about 10 pm in the Judge's living room, for reasons neither of us can remember (I asked just now.)

I don't want to have a fancy wedding. Just go to the court with my family and hers, get married and then going to a house just to party. There will be only my family(pa, ma,sis and the closest aunts and uncles), my best friend, her family(pa, ma, bro or sis, closest aunts or uncles) and she is only allowed to bring one best friend.
And the honeymoon, I will go and say Chernobyl, is not very romantic I know, but I love abandoned places. Or if she is more normie than me, maybe the Canary Islands will do the trick.
As of dresses, I will just rent one for a day. I don't want to have it in my closet.
The cake will be baked by me, I love cooking, and is kinda of my dream to bake my own one.
Music won't be that fancy, just some speakers on the home blasting Glenn Miller.
Dress code and gifts? Just look fancy but don't spend a lot of money in that. Gifts, they are themselves, and some utilities like knives, pots, some tool case... IDK, I don't give much of a fuck on gifts, I only want them to be there.

I love abandoned places and I would really love to go and visit Chernobyl. There is also an abandoned particle accelerator somewhere in Russia that looks fun too.

Somewhere ideally idyllic but I do not see it mattering so much as long as surrounded by loved ones.

I want to have a traditional Shinto wedding in Japan (Nihon) because the girl I married must be Japanese and watch anime with me. I'm raised Methodist but I figure she would enjoy a ceremony done in accordance with her beautiful yet heathen cultural traditions.

In front of the Gundam statue. I don't want some soy cuck boy diddler in a gown to do the ceremony. I'm down with a giant Japanese death machine seeing me through the future and the future is now old man!

From a purely western perspective...Imagine getting married and being stuck with the same increasingly entitled, bossy, saggy, wrinkly cunt every night for the rest of your life unless you divorce which results in your financial ruin.

Who the fuck is stupid enough.

Or you could marry someone you actually like? Not that many people seem to do that though.

Someone who would benefit from the tax, inheritance and immigration advantages, for one. Marriage in some ways is just a piece of paper, but pieces of paper can be extremely valuable.

Any maybe you, y'know, actually want to commit to someone? Call me a degenerate.

If she doesn't want to go to Chernobyl but love abandoned places like me, maybe I would take her to the ruins of the winter olympics held in Bosnia in 1984. Or maybe to Athens to see modern ruins, like their olympic instalations (I am starting to see a patern here...) and their ancient ruins.

I found a link to the particle accelerator or more specifically the abandoned hadron collider. Would love to go and have a looksie for myself:

The courthouse or registry office, because it's what (so far) separates normal people from degenerates.

In most cases it is the woman that initiates divorce proceedings. What does that tell you? I'm not going to risk my entire financial future on the whims of an emotional drama queen and a system that favors divorce. Liking someone in perpetuity is possible. Being liked back in perpetuity is increasingly difficult, especially with the way the institutions are setup (divorce hugely favors women, it would be really dumb for a woman to NOT divorce multiple times from a batch of primary providers. It's free real estate.)

I haven't thought about that much. I figure that. for me, doing such a thing would be a 'putting the cart in front of the horse' scenario.
