I wonder if her friends are even legit.
She has not one redeeming quality and sucks the joy and life out of everything.

Supposedly she has known them for years, I think that might be true but they are paid to be there.

They are absolutely paid to be there. I imagine when she got her contract she looked up old "friends" and pitched them on how they could be on HER TV show and how lucky they were that she thought to ask/include them. It's amazing how notoriety and celebrity attract people and how much they will tolerate just to be around a W-list cable celebrity. (Just look at some of the youtube variety for ffs).

If Whitney didn't have a TV show I highly doubt most of her "friends" would have much to do with her. Without the reality TV fame is see her having a small hen pack of fat girls where she is the alpha-fatty and maybe one gay southern guy who hangs out with her when he's not getting laid/bored.

For fun, here's some pictures of her from before she morphed into an obeast:

I see a lot of obeasts who got fat as children, ballooned during adolescence, and just keep gaining into adulthood. Amberlynn's a typical example; Honey Boo Boo is going that way, and hard. They've been obese for so much of their lives, they really don't have many memories of not being weighted down by excess fat to draw on. Telling them how much easier their lives could be if they weren't 300-, 400-, or 500+ pounds doesn't work because they can't relate to a life unhindered by their own mass.

But Whitney Weighs More wasn't always obese, or even fat. No, she wasn't blessed with the greatest body type--small boobs, blocky torso, big in the thighs--but hey, not everyone gets a lucky roll of the genetic dice. She at least enjoyed full mobility, wasn't in physical discomfort due to her body, and wasn't left tired and aching and winded at the slightest exertion. She looks great in the prom pic, and fine in the other pics.

So it boggles my mind that someone with a perfectly good, working body would willfully destroy it like she has, while claiming that everything's so fabulous--even as they struggle with the most basic activities and personal care, and hurt all the time, and are left gasping for breath, and whose hormones are so out of whack she can fool a pregnancy test. Oh--and can't participate in a physical activity they claim to love so much in any meaningful way.

She knows what she's missing out on. She remembers what it was like to move without thinking about it, and without effort. She knows what she's lost. And yet, she continues. And no, I don't get it.

At the same time, I can't summon much sympathy, either; her inner rottenness has clearly manifested in her outward appearance.

Has Whitney had one legit boyfriend during this show or since she became a land whale? I think every single one of them have been either hired actors or friends willing to go along with a facade for some sweet reality TV money.
Buddy - her current roommate - was the closest thing to it. They never actually dated, but they crushed on one another hard the first season, before he became her backseat beta bitch and grudging house mother for the sake of the show.

How did she meet this dashing young behemoth, you may ask? Why, he was her pizza delivery man! He would bring her extras after his shift and they would binge on them together, before continuing the binge on anything in her parents' kitchen. That's right: their sexual connection was expressed via binge episodes where they stared longingly at one another, made innuendos and beast noises, while they shared their deepest passion.

hey guys, @0xDEADBEEF and @dannyfrickenp were gracious enough to lend us their channel that in about a couple of hours (around 6 est) I'll be playing Whitney and 600lbs Life. I'm going to warm up with Dr. Dangler videos (he reads this is thin priv posts and it's p fucking funny) while we wait for some of you to show up before putting a full episode of anything on. See you guys later:

It's just so unbelievable that someone would say that outside of high school. He could've been drunk. He was holding a beer. However he was also dressed like a stereotypical bro so that's another point for TLC setting that up.

Absolutely a scripted faux event. Production companies can't chance a $10,000 a day production crew going to waste, all "events" and "outings" are scripted. Just like her fake ass pregnancy scare, just like basically everything you see on reality TV shows.

Besides, how many fat people do see around at public events? How many times have you seem some stranger "confront" a fatty? I never have, at best you see people snickering and cracking jokes among themselves, not going up to some stranger and getting in their face.

It reminded me of a twelve year old trying to write school drama

They write the fakest shit for the drama and to make everyone hate the 'bully' and feel sympathetic for their poor, misunderstood protagonist, ignoring that people don't usually talk like that

As a side note I fucking love Babs so much omg. I wish it was a reality show about her, I'd watch the shit out of that

I like it when TLC has a show about fat women, and not too long after on the schedule a show about gargantuas getting the harpoon. Can't have fat acceptance without a bit of fat shaming, I guess?

Fast facts, though:
1) She has/had a pet pig. I say this, but it's more complex. She owns the pig, but the pig stays/stayed with her parents. She refused to train it or even clean it's messes, resulting in it shredding her father's paperwork and pissing in his briefcase. It would shit in the house, shit on furniture, and pee everywhere. Whitney was such a good owner, that when it started humping her leg, you could hear her on TV going "MOM HELP ME" while squealing. While piss and shit still sat on the floor.

2) PCOS does cause weight gain. It does not make you a fucking swamp ogre. Like with diabetes requiring a strict specific diet, PCOS does the same. Whitney has a food plan and exercise regime she should follow, which she does not. She engorges herself on pizza and snacks and has since high school. Her weight gain is the result of pure absolute laziness.

3) Despite her having a hurt foot in a recent episode, causing her to hold off on her scheduled rematch, she is shown being the fatty version of Usain Bolt on her way to the recovery room to visit Babs. She claims "adrenaline" while saying she should have been wearing a boot, but this is not the case. Anyone who has had broken legs or soreness knows that even if you have adrenaline, it is short-lived and you still feel the pain, especially when you stop midway to catch your breath on the elevator.

If anything, TLC needed something to replace Honey Boo Boo, so they looked for a social media celebrity in an "oppressed" minority that they could capitalize off of.

lmao, whitney has given up on losing weight entirely:

here's the long spiel about how being a fat lazy fuck is brave
  • whitneywaythoreSo excited about the new issue of @mirabellamagazine! To read my feature, go to www.mirabellamagazine.com/purchase.html — I hope y'all enjoy it! However, I feel that I have to address something that appears in the article. This is in no way throwing shade to the writers out there — I worked as an editor, copywriter, and free-lance writer for years, so I know how easy it is to overlook something! I'm thrilled with the article except for one tiny oversight. The article states that #MyBigFatFabLife chronicles many things, including my "mission to lose weight." And even though it's just four little words, it's actually of great consequence to me.
    .
When I first discovered body-positivity, it was overwhelming and amazing—and it took me a while to find my footing and navigate exactly how I felt about my entire life which was a culmination of eating disorders, PCOS, and weight gain. As recently as Season 2 of my reality show (circa 2015) I expressed a desire to lose SOME weight, while maintaining that I never wanted to seek out a thin body. I have a million and one thoughts on this, but I quickly realized that I did not believe this statement served me or other fat people, and for the last two years I have refrained from ever saying this on my show (if you hear anything that sounds remotely like this, you've got to remember that tv is edited). I have made explicitly clear in both my Tedx talk and my memoir that I do not seek intentional weight loss for myself. I do not want to lose weight, and do not in any way want anything I'm involved in to reflect that.
    .
It's not uncommon for people to see public fat women or even to watch #MyBigFatFabLife and make assumptions. We generally are only exposed to fat people in one context: weight loss — so I understand that people may think this is part of my platform, especially as I did used to include some weight loss as a goal of mine in 2014 when I first began speaking publicly.
    .
All of this said, I am so thankful for the feature in Mirabella magazine and I want you all to go read it! I also just wanted to opportunity to clarify. #nobodyshame

Since she's obviously not counting calories, she'll only get bigger. JFC
