Why China is a failed state?

God damn the Chinese invasion into the farms is going strong. No one fucking wants to live in China no matter how much he shills for it.

China suffers a lot from decay and corruption, but if the west has some ray of hope of getting better, in China you are just fucked by the system, especially if you are not Chinese, or a Chinese without connections.

You can seeth "but muh trannies" all you want, but you sure as hell not doing it from within China without a VPN.

Nobody with half a brain thinks China is a failed state. There are hundreds of thousands of Americans and Europeans living there. Can’t be that bad.

I’ve seen people post this saying as if it proves something about China. We have identical sayings in English with phrases like “buy cheap buy twice”, “good work aint cheap, cheap work aint good”, “pay peanuts get monkeys” and “you get what you pay for” so what should we make of that?

Moreover, if we begrudge China for giving us the option to purchase cheap and inferior products, how should we look at ourselves for a) offshoring production to China in the first place to save money and b) purchasing those same cheap inferior products?

Fundamentally blaming the Chinese is a weak minded response that doesn’t take into account personal responsibility. They’ve been a willing participant but the degradation in product quality and the development of a “throw away economy” has been championed primarily by Western companies. They’re only getting butthurt now the Chinese are able to sell direct to consumer and cut them out.

Honestly surprised most of the thread is people saying no.

Anyways, they are more like a Lovecraftian creature where their mere existence affects the area around them and thus can't really be destroyed, at least, in the way the West wants. Hypothetically, the CCP can fall apart tomorrow and the worst that happens is they get turned into six or seven different states, but they'll still reform under some kind of central authority by the next century while maintaining all the ethnic and cultural heritage that comes with having a 4000 year old civilization. The Demographic Crisis the West keeps saying will crush them won't bring about their extinction like they hope. It's more like Chinese men will do the passport bro thing and marry outside the country while Chinese women do the Russian wife thing and be materialistic bitches for a few generations.

Can China control its borders? It doesn't have migrant invaders.
Has China become a lawless collection of warlord factions? Not yet.
Is China currently a country of refugees needing foreign intervention? No.
Does China fail to follow the will of its people? The CCP may not particularly care for its citizens, but it doesn't parasitize them the way most western countries do.

"You wouldn't want to live there" is a lame gotcha, nation-states are exclusionary to outsiders by default.
In any case, the question is wasted because the OP is a SEAmonkey fishing for soundbites.

Because China is still ruled by a communist government. China still has government control everything, and under Xi, it is reverting to the Mao days. There is nothing to do in China, the internet is tight down the most censored on Earth. Now that communism and it’s depopulation agenda is coming full circle in China. The country has a severe faced economic downturn fairly recently and some towns have entire shopping district shut down overnight.
I predict that in a few years, China’s Communist Party will collapse, joining alongside every communist country in history.
