I naturally have a very visceral reaction to anyone trying to manipulate me, so things like clickbait, obviously misleading ads, self promotion and blatant lies make me extremely angry. This guy ticks every one of those boxes and then some.

He's not the only one, but I have never seen anyone be so shameless and blatant about it. It's hard to believe the number of times I've hit "Do not recommend" on his videos and ads only for them to pop up days later.
The guy seems to be exploiting every cheat imaginable and has absolutely zero shame in how he comes across.

He almost seems to be mocking you with his brazen Clickbaity titles and thumbnails. He's dropped (or maybe never had) all pretense of trying to do anything other than get views and attention. I've seen many of his ads that say nearly word for word "Click this to win $100000". I see that as the equivalent of trying to meet women by tossing some flowers and candy in a cage and waiting to shut the door once they wander in. It's all so blatant that I find it repulsive.

I definitely agree with the theory that he's sold his soul to the devil for fame and wealth, because his utter lack of authenticity or shame in what he does is unbelievable for a normal person.

I also hate that he's exposed how gullible people are for actually falling for his fake "philanthropist who runs his channels at a loss" image when he's clearly just an attention whore who will switch his channel focus the moment his views drop below profitability.

Sometimes I hold out hope that one day one of these alt tech sites creates a community reminiscent of the glory days of youtube when the suggestions used to be fun videos. Unfortunately so far most of the videos I come across on them are people videoing themselves talking about politics or e-drama into a camera. It makes me wonder if it's impossible to recreate that old youtube atmosphere because we live in a different world now where people are more obsessed with watching drama channels than having fun.
