Why is so much degeneracy linked to atheists?

Whether or not one believes in God or considers themselves "religious" - there does seem to be a strong link between atheism and devolved degeneracy, such as pro-rape, pro-pedophilia, zoophilia, and you'll probably find a lot of disproportionate levels of atheism in the online freak shows or "communities" which support this (e.x. incels, furries, bronies, etc).

Even if this doesn't prove any religion "true", it does make a good case at establishing a link between atheism and immorality, devolution, degeneracy and such.

Not to mention, most "internet atheists" seem like they have severe intellectual or emotional intelligence deficits - they're almost as great an example of "human evolution" (which they erroneously think has something to do with atheism for some reason) as Neo-Nazis or Klansmen are of a "master race".

Because God teaches you morals. A religious person has morals, and those morals serve to function in society.

Atheist don't believe in God, therefor don't have morals, therefor are more likely to incur in degenerate behavior WY without feeling anything wrong with their behavior.

What Atheist don't understand is that the myth of God was created to give society a set of rules to thrive on and expand. If you are full of degeneracy then you'll have crime, disease, illiteracy, laziness, etc.

Honestly- why do you need a myth to not kill a random stranger or rape a random woman?
Why not rationalise your actions as a part of social contract?

(Not to mention how most scientific and intellectual thinkers have believed in God or a higher power, while one of the most famous atheists - the Marquis de Sade, was an author of pro-rape/murder/pedophilia/bestiality literature - so that should put things in perspective).
Simple, online atheists think very highly of themselves. They also consider themselves to be more intelligent than large segments of the population who do identify as religious. When you think you are smart some of your dumb anti-social ideas might seems logical because you figure your atheist beliefs automatically make you better than most people. Intelligent atheists seek to understand what drives theologians to study religion and consider their point of view also rather than make snarky remarks that they are superior free thinkers.

Because society 3 thousands years ago was barbaric and savage. Religion brought about order and rules with the fear of Hell/Divine Punishment that even the most savages would be afraid to go against it.

God doesn't exist in the way religion portrays it, but it served a purpose to civilize savages and indigenous tribes.

Well yeah, you need to have a divine myth on your side, you could not just say "I'm gonna hang you for rape because its rational" to the gang of savage tribals.
Like the myth of how ancient romans have aquired their religion- one day their king Numa went to the local lake, came back and said- "I've talked to the gods and they've said we must follow basically the same religion as those far more developed greeks".
But now you dont really need that. The ethics and morals are embedded into the culture regardless, now its a fear of society that upholds the social contract.

Oh you mean now? Well, that's because autism is prevalent in today's society.

Autism is really the catalyst for every degenerate behavior, and no wonder that all autist are Atheist.

I think it's more so because the church acts as an extreme form of social pressure. You are less likely to see people doing weird shit because of this added social pressure. Walking about in a Fur suit would be more weird if you knew every granny would know just how much of a werido you are. It more so grounds people with their communities and makes them want to appear more normal or within that larger social group that is their church. There is also an idea of rules and good and evil. But I've seen dickheads push people out of the way at church and otherwise be assholes to their fellow man. So I think the Idea that religious people are better morally than others is more self masturbatory than anything else.

True, but doesn't 'secular' law act that way as well?

A psychopath might not have any conscience about murder or rape, but fear of harsh legal consequences might make them think twice.

Religion and law aren't entirely separate (historically, the line between religion and law was more blurred, such as in eras when church also acted as state), and of course many morals which exist in religions such as morals against murder also exist as crime under "secular" law and were likely influenced by them.

Everyone has to deal with the law, legality does not equal morality. I'm simply saying that the church offers that form of social pressure and though sometimes it can be negative (i.e. see any cult) it can also be a force for good and help to create a more stable system.

They're nerdverts suffering fron cognitive dissonance.
Euphoric atheists think very highly of themselves yet are confronted by their failures daily.
They see "Normies" enjoying life and having normal relationships so they have to one up them.
But there are a couple of issues.
First off there is no contest except the one you build in your mind
Second off people who spend lots of time online conflate sex with love so more sex equals more love.
So they fall into debauchery, with orgies and fetishes.
Now religious people can and do this too.
But its the smugness of your average reddit atheist (soon to troon) that makes me want to smash his head in with a leatherbound copy of the good word.

I've said it before, but internet atheists are themselves probably the best living evidence that there is no intelligent design.

This is what the average internet atheist looks like:

Yea because sociopathy, narcissism, or just being a plain asshole isn't a thing. The world truly became a terrible place when Chris Chan unleashed Sonichu on the internet. The internet, in which you could ignore things you don't like or simply turn off your computer.

I guess Epstein was suffering from autism then.

If you abolish the root justification for morality without replacing it with a new equally immutable justification the whole house of cards collapses. Western atheists want to benefit from a thousand years of Christian tradition and just cut the God part out. It doesn't work like that. "Muh empathy" is insufficiently compelling and it's all atheists have been able to muster in the 50ish years they've been an appreciable thing.
