Why is so much degeneracy linked to atheists?

When you don't fear God, devine retribution or hell. Why should you be afraid of consequences? That's why the two are linked.

Not all atheists are degenerate and indeed there are religious people who are degenerate. But religion comes with a set of moral values. Or at least it tends to. Atheists are the purest form of man. They see no kings, no gods, no masters, only themselves. And sometimes, that's quite horrifying.

it is, but no more so than their alternative, since they're acting in the interests of whatever deity told them to do or gave them the green light. It's slightly worse, since an atheist only has to question what and why he/she is doing, and the believer has to contend with something he/she was told is unquestionable.

The Bible does not condemn pedophilia, but most Christians view it as wrong.

Because we likely have a biological need to have a religion. If we don't have a religion, we have a hollow in our soul.

Atheists do have the tendency to cling onto some religion or another. It's just a cringe secular one like wokism.

That said, take a look at the religion of the Canaanites. Baal worship, Molech worship: They literally had sexual degeneracy as their religion. homosexuality, gang rape, pedophilia, bestiality, cuckoldry, and infanticide.
