Since so many of you are irritated by that post, I want to clarify, I'm not upset that people are being mean to me; I'm saying that if we're not supposed to be fighting with eachother, you wouldn't know it from interacting with the userbase. Either you have trolls trolling trolls, or you have a unified community against the world, you can't have both.

I can't go in the "Unpopular opinions" threads on Games, Art&Literature and Multimedia without getting seething mad at people and people at me but apart from that i look at and post on every board except the furry one (just no interest in it) and people never gave me any unneccessary shit.
I don't know what that dude is going on about, i always found this site to be very welcoming and it's easy to fit in if you don't behave like a complete spastic.
I also can't stress enough how good the discussion in the off-topic boards is. I said it often before but if Null should ever decide to shut the lolcow part of the site down for whatever reason i'd still be here daily because of these boards, it's the only part of the internet left that reminds of how it's been in the good, old, pre-social media days.

Basically yes. Are lolcows funny? Sure. Is that the only reason I am here, absolutely not. I'm here because the OT boards are fun, extremely multicultural, informative, and I can say whatever.

Yes it is. This is a gossip \ drama \ humor forum, not a politics forum. There is plenty of drama and gossip in BP. The only worthwhile part of the Thunderdome is Mass Debates, for the same reason.

Mass Debates is simply Q&A but almost solely about personal grudges and vendettas like this thread that probably really needs to be there instead of here.

You can't control for human nature. Many, many cows are explicitly political, so to say that no one can have an opinion on the cow's political take is retarded. When we are constantly attacked by deranged troons who have not only a vengeful but political motivation, to say we can say nothing about it is retarded too. I think that 0 has a realization of this, but has no idea what to really do about it. Maybe he longs for the days before he and this site ever became entangled in this horseshit, but The Law of Unintended Consequences. I do actually feel bad for him in that regard.
