Anyone who thinks Zendaya is ugly relatively is living in ignorant bliss of the depths some women sink to when failing to take care of their bodies. She's like 6th or 7th hottest girl in a high school sized class hot. With good makeup and nobody else changing maybe she can be around the top. In a college size class maybe in a couple steps above average to attractive when she's dolled up like she is for awards shows. Her face is average without makeup but she's slim which is more than you can say about the majority.

Its so funny. For the 'classic' games the tv/movie studios generally hired uglier actresses. But now that the game studios have uglied up the character models for female empowerment or whatever for the sequels and newer games these same actresses are now often better looking. Its like an arms race between game and film/tv studios to see who can put the ugliest women on screen.

With men it's the opposite, you have modern films sexualizing men way more than even satire of female fanservice. Eh...yeah she doesn't look that great without makeup but with the magic of makeup while not my personal fantasy she looks decent. If you don't mind nonwhite women. I could think of plenty of girls who are more attractive than her even with makeup but I can think of a lot of women less attractive than her even with makeup.

I always thought it was funny comparing the recently emerging Gen Z or Millennial actors ages and appearances to ones that came before them in the 90's and 2000's. Christian Bale for example is 26 here. Not in a bad way, but he could easily pass for someone much older but he has that matured, diagetic look to him.

Now compare that to Tom Holland in Uncharted, same age. Looks like a teenager dressing up for Halloween, doesn't make you feel like you're watching a movie at all.

Sure its great to look young for your age, but if you're going for a role that commands some screen presence its going to do a complete disservice to your line of work. It would be like casting Chris Pratt as Aragorn or Charlie Day as Doomguy.
