But in all honesty, no, I don't think I would.

I probably wouldn't even realize he's dead for a month or two, and when I found out, I imagine my reaction would be "Oh". And then I'd go about my day as if nothing happened.

I'd certainly think about him for a good ten, twenty seconds. Might even pause what I'm doing for a moment of silence, if it's not something interesting or important. But I wouldn't go so far as to say I'd miss him, no.
