Will there ever be an end to the constantly growing ‘wokeness’?

There is no humanity outside of the White race.

It's a shame you're not White, you whiny Melungeon.

Also, you've got a fucking Mesopotamian avatar. The Babylonians and Assyrians were goddamn sand monkeys. I know it's because you find Mesopotamia cool, but it still doesn't take away the irony.

Even if you weren't a Melungeon mix-breed, the Scots-Irish literally invented both nigger culture and hillbilly culture. Thomas Sowell wrote a goddamn book about it.

I'd put the border reivers in the same category of "Light skinned but not actually White" that I place the Ashkenazi Jews, Chechens, and Albanians in. And I say this as someone who is mostly Scots-Irish in his heritage and grew up in Appalachia.

There are already signs that the narrative class is trying to walk back some of the excesses of woke. The latest round of US elections seems to have been a bit of a wake-up call in that respect - people are starting to get on board with the revolutionary notion that you can't win elections while declaring war on the electorate. New York elected a cop, Virginia elected a Republican who "shouldn't have" won, New Jersey nearly did the same, and minorities are getting so disgusted with Democrats that they're staying home from the polls, or actually defecting to the Orange Man Party.
Check the op-eds in the NY Times (my favorite barometer of elite opinion) and you'll see mild dissenters from woke orthodoxy starting to get a platform again. I think what we're headed toward is a period of retrenchment and consolidation of gains for left far-extremism, as the people in power shift their focus back to keeping themselves in power. The public faces of the movement will either tone things down (see the domestication of AOC for example) or find themselves frozen out of the media.

That's not to say that we're going to see a rollback of woke, for the most part. Apart from the most serious blunders like "defund the police", the Current Year will remain current. But I suspect this is the highwater mark of the movement for now, and we're not going to see as aggressive growth in the near term.

I think you're right on the money with this assessment. Woke isn't going away in the short term any time soon but I think it's reaching its peak very soon if it hasn't reached it already. Right now, the aim is to keep what they've gained and roll back the most obvious stupid ideas like Defund the Police.

Now, I could see an actual rollback of woke where it counts after the 2022 midterms or 2024 depending on how badly the elections go for the DNC and how the establishment in general responds as a result.

I can't speak to the rest of the world, but in the US. We are are already seeing a breaking point, i.e. defund the police. That hasn't happened and yet we see what the effects of such calls have been.

This skyrocket in crime is nearly a complete non-white endeavor. And as demographics show, America is becoming less white.

In other words, this system is unsustainable and is completely dependent on the continued existence of whites to prop it up. It will eventually reach a tipping point. Probably within the next decade and then it will cease to effectively exist.

In my opinion, the real question isn't if woke will be around forever, but what will replace America as we know it once it reaches critical mass.

I mean, what happened to the hippie culture of the 1960s?
All that peace and love ran upside drugs and crime, people got tired of living in vans and communes, then the Tate-LaBianca murders made mainstream society even less tolerant of the dirty long-hairs, so most of them changed.
Granted, the 60s and 70s didn't have internet.

The factories that produce Wokeness are not mentally ill troons on Twitter, it comes from academia, and is concentrated in the social sciences.

Ideas like “White privilege” and “Systematic racism” existed in the academy for decades, long before 2014. Since the seventies if not before.

You will never destroy Woke-ness until the Academia question is resolved.

if you are like me and do not buy the conspiracy theory that the west is experiencing a gay communist takeover, then you could feel comfort to know that the pendulum is due to sway the other way.

it won't end, it will just go out of fashion for a while when the next generation develops their own 'fuck you mom and dad' mindset. after all, is woke not just a response to people bitching about how BIGOTED their parents and grandparents are? the people having kids now (or adopting if theyre faggots) are going to inevitably be rebelled against by their kids.

too bad i will be a decrepit old bitch by the time any real change can be observed.

Probably when a carrington level event turns the internet off because it doesn't exist in meatspace unless you look for it.

That or when the USA learns to shut the fuck up.

The more attention you pay to it the more you give it fuel, moreso if you end up being the very villains they cry about and giving credence to their accusations.

But because freeze peach people refuse to stop bitching and moaning about racism either for or against so the USA is doomed to hell. And they deserve it.

Pretty much this, at least in the United States.

Americans practically run on the pendulum effect and all it takes is the right people in the right places to really start the pushback.

Even if it's just due to the same rich assholes who pushed for all of this woke shit throwing the true believers under the bus to cover their own sorry asses, there's going to be some kind of pushback even if woke won't fully die out, it will still recede.

Much like 9/11 did for the Bush era neocons and fundies, all 2020 and the fear of Trump managed to do was delay the inevitable for a little longer and make the potential backlash more intense when the time comes.

But at this point, who gives a shit?

Just sit back, grab some popcorn and a drink, and enjoy the freak show. I've learned life is too short to be worried about this nonsense. All this has happened before in some form or another and it will happen again.

The pendulum may swing at the polls, and people may grow tired of the latest tranny Twitter fad, but the institutions of society will continue to promote leftist shit. The NYT, Harvard, Stanford, and a constellation of dozens of NGOs.

Talking about “swinging pendulums” while ignoring the influence and power of these institutions is missing the forest for the tree.

Until you change this, you get rid of these ideas where they are promulgated, developed and spawned-nothing will fundamentally change.

The parallel I prefer is that of Bolshevism in the USSR. If you know Bolshevism, you'll understand that many of the same parties are involved. If I'm being too vague, read Solzhenitsyn. We may see a communist takeover. Some might argue that's happening already. There are also parallels to Weimar Germany in the 20s, you know, the German government that was so bad that it spawned the National Socialist party as a consequence, to erase its blight. These are the immediate historical precedents.

But "reality"--specifically, the economic realities of the politic and its consequences--will always eventually win out. Bolshevism died in the USSR. Now Russia is nominally capitalist. The big question is: where will the bottom be? If the Russian outcome hits, we'll all be old and gray by the time our nations are well again. If the German outcome hits, well...
