Still, Liquid himself along with LOTW, ranklin, and many other big Wings Troll uploaders seem to agree that profiting from Wing's content was wrong. (Not really enforceable and more of an excuse to ban Leen.)
Yet they turn a blind eye to Liquid profiting from his uploads because.. it's music? Both the music and the YouTube highlight/compilation videos are transformative content. So it is arbitrary to say one is okay to profit from but not the other.

It is clear that there is an inner gatekeeping circlejerk happening, especially within the Discord. Plus the constant deletion of chatlogs reeks of gay ops.

As for the pedo stuff, that hardly seems like a funny "joke" to throw around. Even during the Lion's Den video with Wings the trolls were doubling down on the accusation, yet they try to say it is ironic humor at the same time.

EDIT: Donating money back does not take away from Liquid's hypocrisy of exiling Leen for "profiting", which turned out to be untrue and staged by fake Twitter accounts anyway.

I joined today, that is correct. I was in direct communication with Josh via Discord, and he suggested that instead of sending information directly to him that I try posting it here to see if anyone else could add anything, or counter it.

But since your only counter point is directed at me and not the topic I will take it as you have nothing to add to the thread beyond your emotions.

I've known him for like 6 months off-site. This is not an exclusive club, unlike the troll's Discord server which is locked down fucking tight. The moment I start asking questions in there, they clone the channel and delete it to hide chatlogs. They apparently do this a lot.

I've also gotten multiple notifications in there for @s, but when I go to investigate, the message is gone. Not only are they burning shit faster than Germany in Operation Clauswitz, they're actively stifling people from contacting me.

Liquid Richard monetising his stuff is probably because instead of clipping streams (like lotw, sean ranklin) he makes music with sounds from the streams. There is a lot more work and creativity behind that. Compare it with 'will the real mitt romney please stand up' (not linking, on phone), a funny music video put together with a beat and clips from romney. A bit more of a transformative work than clipping.

I kinda like wings because he wants to improve even if progress can be a bit stop-start. Still, a lot of fun as a cow.

Shit, he even scoffs at the idea of a job that pays 30k+ which for a guy with no skills and a 8 year+ employment gap is quite rich.

Huh? I think you're mixing me up here, I'm not one of the "trolls" from the discord server or am affiliated with them, I've never even been there myself. Shit I don't even care if Leen or any of the trolls make money from their vids.

That's called gatekeeping, which is one of the main criticisms of the Sons of Kojima 2.0.


It seems in general people in this thread are interpreting the calling out of Sons of Kojima 2.0 as some how defending Leen or Wings himself. I don't really know much about Leen, besides that he just highlights streams and doesn't edit them to make Wings look worse than reality (like SOK 2.0 does.) And I'm not trying to defend Wings' behaviors or life choices.

But it is clear that Sons of Kojima 2.0 have an agenda beyond banter, to make Wings look like a horrible person in all aspects of his life.

Of course they are free to behave this way. And we are free to call them out on their gatekeeping mindset and hypocritical actions.
