To those wondering, I am the founder of Wizardchan who was forcibly removed from the staff and permanently banned.
But why, you may ask?
The new owner of the site is a believer that the principles of Wizardchan must be sacrificed in order for the site to gain higher post counts.
This is why recently you have seen the introduction of the /b/ board, unchecked normalfaggotry, a general disregard for the original intent of the rules, and deteriorating post quality overall.
To him, this is all great news so that he can continue to show off higher traffic numbers to his e-friends at 4chon.net and brag about the so-called success of this site to his loyal followers on IRC.
When he bought the site from the previous owner, he made IRC a more integral part of the site and required all staff members to be on it constantly. Sensibly, I chose not to participate, as I never have been a fan of IRC circlejerking, and it is at seriously great odds with the intents of global rule 9. I single-handedly moderated Wizardchan for many months without the use of IRC.
Nonetheless, I was demoted then permanently banned for choosing not to participate, though I continued my moderating duties on the site until the day I was betrayed.
Why am I telling you this?
There is nothing more I can do. I have no more power at Wizardchan, and of course I am essentially unknown to all users of Wizardchan since I never flaunted my identity.
Many now complain that the moderating of Wizardchan seems different than a year ago, or even several months ago. Now you know why. The new admin was not even a staff member until several months ago, when I promoted him.
There is good news though. The good news is that you can demand better of the new admin. What he cares about is post QUANTITY, rather than post QUALITY. You should log onto IRC and state your opinion that he is destroying Wizardchan (do not post on /meta/, because your post will be deleted), and that you will stop posting until he and the rest of this new staff remembers the founding principles of the site.
At the current path, a year from now, Wizardchan will be unrecognizable to a degree exponentially greater to how unrecognizable it is now from a year ago.
The reason why I proposed my idea for Wizardchan is that there is no longer any place on the Internet for people like us. Every corner of the Web has been infested by normalfags who dumb down the quality of content and make everything appeal to the lowest common denominator. It has happened to too many sites, and it grieves me greatly to see it beginning to happen to the site I founded.
You are not alone. Wizardchan is the greatest community I've ever had the privilege to be a part of. Let us show our fellow KV brethren that Wizardchan shall never be lost. These are dark days, but we will be a bastion that shall proudly stand against the normalfag hordes in the years to come.
Wizardchan has ALWAYS been about post quality, NOT post quantity. Never forget that, because prioritizing quantity has always been the slippery slope to becoming a shit board.
