I'm curious where in his gin soaked mind he pulled that phrase from, but it seems like it will be the new thus.
Since it's a salesman's term he probably remembers it from business school. Some similar terms would be "buy-in" which he's become fond of recently and one of his staple terms "detractor."

Blue collar worker.

Recently, Phil called himself a "blue collar worker." Hear that, Amazon warehouse worker? A guy that makes six figures and sits his gouty ass in his mid-size condo filled with mold is JUST like you! Is Phil forklift certified? No. Does Phil have to waddle his ass down a warehouse the size of three football fields to make sure that person gets their lotion for their, ahem, alone time? Also, no. Or if they fall below their pique rate, they're fired? That will also be a no.

So, how is Phil like you, blue collar worker? Well, he's an "everyday guy." Not those other streamers that have sponsorships *eyeroll*, the shills! That get paid to "praise a shit game for money!" You get "ahansty." from Phil! Like you, blue collar worker! He's just like you!

He then retconned it when he realized what he just said and whined about how he was saying he was like an internet blue collar worker.

he's not that either.
this is an internet blue collar worker.
a mechanic who does yotube videos teaching about cars and stuff.
piglatin, Internet Blue collar worker: a smaller streamer who doesn't have sponsorhsips.
actual definition: someone that works a blue collar job and their content is related to that occupation.

Um no dood. That giys does exaggerated voices and acts like a clown. With Phil you get RAW, UNEDITED, REAL TIME OBSERVATIONAL COMEDY, in the on demand khantent.

That guy probably watched him 50 years ago and got inspired by his work, and now punches down and shits on him.

Condolence.

From HALO stream: "My one condolence is that the matches are fast".

The word tard boy was looking for was probably consolation, but who the fuck knows anymore.

EDIT:
Propper use of the word: "Oh you are married to Phil Burnell and live with him? My condolences".

After this weekend of the NFL Playoffs - four divisional games with four walk-off endings - I'm reminded that Phil doesn't understand the concept.

The term originated from baseball's walk-off home run and because of the way baseball is played (no official time limit, home team bats last) the conditions:

A walk-off occurs when the home team takes the lead in the bottom of the ninth or extra innings. Because the visiting team will not get another turn at-bat, the game ends immediately, with the home team victorious.

Phil hit a home run in his MLB The Show playthrough and thought it was a walk-off home run. Except:

-His team was already winning
-His team wasn't at home: they were visiting
-It was only the eighth inning: game wasn't over

Draugr: Ancient Norse folk creature that supposedly haunted barrows, etc. usually seen in Norse sagas.

Phaugr: A roach who has somehow lasted this long leaching off the internet who wakes up every day to film himself playing games while begging for money, because every day he wakes up his bones are sore or something.

He is talking about his "behind the scenes" viewers (behind the scene viewers apparently is someone that doesn't watch the streams but watches the youtube videos) and he says "cause you are just here to watch the CORE playthrough kind of content".

What is "core playthrough" content? stop adding more words to sound smart you fucking imbecile, if there is a "core" playthrough does that imply that there is another superficial level of playthrough too? what would that be? and you imply that they don't watch that superficial playthrough since they are only interested in the "core"? I think he means that they only watch the gameplay and not the pre-stream(and that's not true since his pre-stream has the same views as his other videos).

It would be like if instead of going to the cinema where you need to watch 20 minutes of ads before the movie(pre-stream) you bought the movie to watch it at home and someone said that you are only interested in "the core movie".

I don't understand either, because it's not like he edits his shit for more palatable consumption, he just posts the whole fucking stream cut up into sections without any real care. The only shit that doesn't make it are the unrecorded begging and ranting, which he excludes because even he knows it's embarrassing to, for example, be yelling at your audience for feeling some type of way about a certain whale who poses a threat to the others.

Everything else is there, there is no fluff that gets left on the cutting room floor.

canon intro.

Canon: Usually used in reference to fictional settings in order to distinguish official lore from fanfiction. Example, canonically, Alduin attacks Helgen in 4E 201. Just because someone rights a fanfic where he helps stop the Oblivion Crisis doesn't mean it's canon.

Philtalian Canon: Something I am going to use for my set up.
