Instead of viral, a better comparison would be "rare congenital birth defect". Only a small amount of the population is effected, and those unlucky enough to be afflicted get it from people with defective genes.'viral' - his standards for that seem somewhat low
Apparently his local dialect. Same reason he says frahgs, gahlf and ahnest. Some weird disability when the O sits at the front. Which makes it way easier on "Speak like Phil Burnell" day.Is the Pigroach the only one that mispronounces "lolcow" as "lawlcow"?
That makes more sense. I was wondering why he is able to pronounce "lol" correctly, but says "lawlcow", and maybe thought that he was somehow too stupid to make the connection between lolcow and its roots in the phrase "lol"Apparently his local dialect. It’s always fun when you get people that use words even when they’re too sheltered or stupid to know what they actually sound like. I also have to wonder if he’s also using words without thinking about how they sound in his voice. To powerlevel a bit, I’m pretty much the only person in my extended family that doesn’t have some level of Southern drawl and there are turns of phrase that just sound kind of weird when I say them. I feel like a somewhat similar thing is happening with Phil in that his weird fucking accent and cadence somehow makes it more clear that he doesn’t really know how to use these words.Oh my god, he did. He referred to them as "immature and pweril" (1m40s)
Also really weird is that my 2nd result when I Google search the word 'puerile' has a reference to gout from a 1927 literature citation demonstrating the use of the word 'puerile' https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/puerile ?
I heard him saying 'exaggeration', although he's being a bit lazy when pronouncing the 'g', Imo.Did Phil say "exaduration" instead of "exaggeration"? Or am I simply wrong?
