Words & Phrases DSP Has Invented or Misuses - DSP'isms that make you say "HUUUHN?!?"

I have never heard anyone say it as a phrase in and of itself without some kind of object or action attached to it.
Like getting caught out in the rain. Or getting caught out on a pop-quiz.
It generally is meant to indicate that something occurred that you were unprepared for.
To say just 'caught out' without the 'something' attatched to it sounds like nonsense to me.

I'm pretty sure the phrase he was mixing up was 'called out', but he just really wanted to say caught over and over because it made him feel like he was a 'Top' for a little bit. He's been a shut-in for so long he can't even tell how his own words sound. He has no frame of reference to gauge if human persons will be able to make sense of his Phil-speak. He knows what his meaning is inside his head, but he doesn't have the social skills to understand how to communicate that meaning to others clearly with socially agreed upon syntax.
”Caught out“ is fairly common in North America. Usually used when someone has lied and it gets revealed, as in “Jeff said he did his homework, but was caught out when his teacher phoned his parents about missing assignments.”

It’s from baseball. If a runner is between bases and is intercepted by the ball getting to a defensive player before the runner is safe, he’s been caught out.

His “Umm”’s have changed into the much more exaggerated “awwuhm” within the last year. Is he copying Kat? Kat has that strong Midwest accent and as we know Phil tends to steal mannerisms from his significant others.

I made this comment on April 8, 2018

He says "um" as "ohm". I don't know if that's a regional thing or not. Also, "bwalls".

So he's been saying it that way for well over a year now, at least (assuming we're talking about the same thing, that is) 😕

We probably already covered RAINY DAY FUND but DSP Tries It again. And miserably fails by making up the complete opposite of what a rainy day fund is and fails to understand that the name is metaphorically.
It's like he has to describe "fire" and tells us it's a refreshing transparent liquid which covers most of the Earth's surface (had to add that last part cuz it could also mean "gin" which in fact burns in several ways, but I digress) .

Today he was playing Life is Strange 2 and laughed like this when a child was about to burn to death and while a teenage boy was getting the shit kicked out of him. He does it at the most inappropriate times haha

That's because Phil's a macho-man and doesn't get all emotional and shit (unless he thinks it will get him $$$).

Probably been said but he definitely has a different definition to "FUN" and "CHILL" than everyone else.

Also not using it wrongly, but it rubs me the wrong way when he uses "all" in his tweets to address his oh-so attentive twitter fanbase. Like, "All, I'm going to be late today!".

Edited to not double post.

Leadership:
1) "A boss who tells you what to do when you're at work." (Authority Figure )*
2) "Someone who has experience and leads you on to success in some kind of endeavor by using said experience." (Mentor)*
3) "Someone who leads by example. They don't tell you to do anything they just do something and you see them doing it and you're like Man I wanna be like that and you end up...kinda...*unintelligible*..basing your...basing the way you behave off of the way they behave." (Role Model )*

Fucking laughed when he tried to spin leadership as some arbitrary thing.

Phil just said on stream that being Italian was a race.
-- mistaking it for ethnicity ..
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've heard him say that his race is ITALIAN quite a few times.
He's not even ethnically Italian as he doesn't speak Italian, he isn't from Italy, and he shares in none of Italy's culture (unless you count boiling tomato paste for 5 hours and cheep greasebomb pizza as Italian cuisine). He barely even has any Italian ancestry, he's an American Mutt of minor Italian decent.
Edit: Here's an example of his Italian race claim from his first Retrospective event
During watching 'Friend Request Ridicule 3' (I think?) after several racist remarks about black people 2018 Dave pauses the video to explain why his racism was acceptable in 2009 and says, 'Back then I called myself an equal opportunity offender. I would make fun of every race. I would make fun of myself, I'm MOSTLY Italian.'
'Italian' is not a race you noodley armed sped  and no, you're not. You're somewhere less than 25% Italian. You're mostly Polish, somewhere around 50%. Dave's still ashamed of being Polish *sigh* don't let him lie and tell you any different.

At the start of the next 'Friend Request Ridicule' he made the claim that his hairline is exactly the same as it was 9 years ago and his hair has not receded at all since then before I tapped out. That was some of the most horrendous garbage I've ever seen, and I've watched the entire 22 minute Hypnotoad episode included on the Futurama DVD of 'Bender's Big Score' before.
