Do you speak for those lots of fans? Because many fans I know of are in fact mad that he spends too much time with rogue and prefer him go solo as the King of Thieves.
Rogue has a large fan base among X-Men fans. Most of the Rogue fans prefer the couple when the guild stuff is minimalized and they are doing straight up super hero shit and being the voice of reason and morality in the X-Men.

I still hate the fact that they just decided Iceman was fucking gay all along. Sure, the only horndog to rival Spider-Man in either chasing tails or getting them dropped on his lap suddenly was a repressed faggot. Eat a dick, Marvel.
I really hate it as well, new Iceman doesn’t even feel like the same character largely because of it. I like to think seeing Havok steal Polaris from him multiple times is the real thing that made him gay and not the whole Jean mindrape thing.

This one you mention, I never saw before
welcome to the magical realm of MirrorNoir
he gifts the wrasslin thread with his unique storytelling ability sometimes but not as much as he used to

I hate that Iceman is gay, but some writer also asked editorial for Gambit to be bisexual (they said no), so if one of them had to be sacrificed, I'm glad is not the Cajun. Even when editorial has firmly said that he's not bisexual, "fans" keep insisting that he's coded. Fuck them.

That's the issue. Rogue fans aren't Gambit fans. They see him as an accessory for Rogue.

I mean, that's something that can apply for the dynamic of Peter and MJ as she's not a super hero and she's meant to be what keeps him grounded, but Gambit's a hero on his own, and even more popular than she is.

Of course Rogue fans don't like guild stuff. That would keep him away from her and how can we survive without having them both half naked in bed every number?

Gambit was made the King of Thieves and there is no way his fans hate this. He had the title and position removed off camera because editorial married him to Rogue so he had to be with her all the time. How a fan of Gambit would like this? Dunno. If being married to Rogue means he's gonna lose his own development and stories, I'd rather him to single, tbh.

As stupid as it is, I’m really interested in seeing how mutants are introduced to the MCU. I’m going to assume it’s going to be classic Scott and Jean. Probably Beast. More than likely new mutants or gold and blue so
Storm
Cannonball
Karma
Sunspot
Colossus
If for whatever reason banshee shows up I’ll be ecstatic

The rumor roster floating around is that the Disney X-Men will be the Morrison/Whedon roster but with Storm instead of Emma and Kitty as the POV young mutant.

Wolverine could make a good winter soldier flick.

So after spending most of the first half of the year reissuing existing Complete Collections as Epics (mapping be damned), it's been leaked that we are FINALLY gettng two new Claremont Epics towards the end of the year that will bring the Epic line all the way up to eve of the Mutant Massacre.

Lifedeath will half #176-188 plus the Kitty/Wolverine mini and the 1988 Marvel Fanfare story that is an interlude to Lifedeath that was embargoed until Shooter was forced out over it's overt lesbian elements relating to Mystique and Destiny).

Wounded Wolf however? It's a bit more problematic as it only has X-Men #199-210, Annuals #9-10 and New Mutants Special Edition.

The only extra is Marvel Fanfare #33, which IIRC is the Questprobe computer game tie-in. New Mutants Annual #2 (first US Psylockes) is NOT included, even though it and X-Men Annual #10 are a two part story (and is a bit consistent in a way though, as the New Mutants epic that had Annual #2 didn't have Annual #10). Adding to this, it will also not include the Longshot mini or Alpha Flight #33-34 (the first Lady Deathstrike/Wolverine fight).

It will be interesting to see how they handle the great X-Men Annual #10 continuity crisis, as it was written and drawn when Mutant Massacre was going to involve Nimrod not the Marauders and run as a multi-issue arc in Uncanny only and as such has major continuity issues as Nightcrawler presumed dead inbetween #209 and 210 and the issue of Longshot joining in the annual and then not showing up again until #215. But outside the Essential V7 (which went in publication order and had it open V7, then moving to issue #214), the Omnibus and Masterworks put it BEFORE #210, even though it makes no sense as Kurt is presumed dead at the end of #209 and is only rescued at the end of #210.

Disagree.

They should have just had Logan living on the run, hiding and keeping a low profile after Maker tried to kill him.

Logan ends up rescuing Rogue/Iceman from Maker and we get a quasi-recreation of the dynamic from the Singer X-Men films with straight Bobby fucking Rogue and Logan as their surrogate dad as they are hunted by the Maker's inner circle, with the added bonus of Rogue stealing Sunfire's power and memories so as to give Logan a leg up on hurting the Maker. And restore the dropped plot point of Ultimate Sue Storm being the Maker's secret Master and boss, by having her demand Maker find a way out of his prison ASAP so he can capture Rogue so Sue can force her to absorb her mind/ovewrite Rogue's mind with Sue's since she realizes that Rogue and her power absorbs ion powers could make Ultimate Sue the most powerful person in the multiverse, per the dropped Claremont plot point involving the Shadow King wanting to get his hands on Rogue as his host body given the potential of her powers.

There still hasn't been a follow up on that Ultimate Future Sue Kang though the new Ultimates line has its own Kang with identity still officially unknown.

And its unlikely that new Kang is Sue given the armor has no breast outlines.

Don't forget the Human Torch, still being a bachelor even now.

Not continuing the Storm bloodline.

I haven’t picked up U. Wolverine because I’m almost 100% sure it’s going to be bad. Don’t get me wrong, I love U. Spider-Man and the ultimates, but U. Black panther and U. X-men bore me to tears. Is U. Wolverine any good?

I would say the art style suits the comic very good and gruff, with Wolverine in the opening chapter deciding to jump out of the plane without a parachute.

Basically its like how R rated Wolverine in the yellow suit, was super good and fun to watch in the recent Deadpool movie.

Basically its Wolverine who gets brainwashed and kills enemies of the state for now, in a very brutal manner. And even scares his handlers to a very high degree.

I guess its similar to the original Weapon X storyline of being experimented on and killing wild bears. Except now he is a walking unkillable machine unlike Bucky Barnes and much more deadly.

Then expands on what happened to the traditional X-men team as we know it.

The Maker basically had all the muties of the world deported to Russia, and Magik with Colosses running Russia, has been doing batshit experiments on them.

However, I guess this is a partial spoiler but The Maker murdered that one guy before he could go on to do the sentinel program and try kill off the muties, for his own reasons.

You actually sold me on it. I’m really interested in seeing what happened to the other heroes. It’s kind of a shame they don’t touch on it more. I’m really loving Steve and Jim in ultimates. I fucking hate U. X-men but if U. Wolverine touches on the X-men I’m down.

Gay Iceman wasn't just terrible, it was actually fucking retarded. You take a 60-something year established character and say, "Oh, um, yup, let's just toss all that out." At the same time, you piss off the DEI community because Jean outs him and everyone gets pissed off at her for doing so. Any goodwill they attempted to achieve by bending ass backwards was ruined and wasted.

On a separate note, how's everyone feeling about the Hickman / Krakoa run? The idea that Xavier finally hit a point of "Magneto was right" and the overall concept was incredibly refreshing for me.

@Gator_Aids
Can’t quote you for some reason.
Bobby’s not gay though. They can throw the gay blanket over him and try their hardest but he’s not. At best he’s bi. They tried to do the same thing to beast and it didn’t work. Bobby is Bobby. He’s not even written gay in current comics, he’s just “experimental Bobby”.
My boy and all time favorite hero Alan Scott is being hit with the gay stick hard. They aren’t doing that to Bobby
