If those pages are close to the usual quality of Ultimate X-Men then it seems like skipping the series was a good call. At least tell me it makes more sense in context of the story.

There so much better art styles.

Like the Mangaka behind "Kingdom of Ruin" or the guy who did "Deadman Wonderland" which does suit the Ultimate X-men vibe and would definitely sell more copies.

Maybe that is why they decided to release Ultimate Wolverine so damn late into the game, because the editorial realized Ultimate X-men is just too much of a miss for anyone to care about.

Edit: And I googled who the fuck is Peach Momoko and she is "Fat" ffs, get these fatties out of here.
 
They’re still doing the gala stuff? Seems weird seeing how this current era was meant to be a return to normal after the Krakoa stuff.

That mini was the reviled one where the female heroes (including X23) fought Arcade, who when X23 last fought him saw him murder several of her friends in Avengers Academy and a bunch of other heroes, and rather than tell a tale where Dazzler, Jubilee, and Boom Boom have to stop X23 from straight up murdering Arcade to avenge her friends, never fucking mentioned AA and instead for the climax made a bunch of childish piss fetish jokes about Arcade liking to be peed on.

Also, picked up some Krakoa trades; Sins of Sinister and Hellfire Gala III. Hellfire Gala III was a huge rip off price-wise (basically four issues for $25) and reminds me again of how Marvel is shitty with reprinting the X-Men digital comics from the Krakoa era and how the big FOHX/ROPX omnibus is going to omit several major digital comics that tie up loose ends.

After seeing a lot of x-men material made in recent years, it's made for lefties on purpose given their use of the word "fascist" against Orchis and Sinister and other traditional long established enemies of mutants.

Are X-men writers like jeolous of the Fantastic 4 and Avengers.

Almost all the crossover events in the past decade are basically butthurt slapfights and character assassinations.
 
Went to check what Xmen was up to and...

Both Uncanny and Exceptional are desperate to pander to the manga fans.

They both suck at it.

(The context here is that there is a movie about mutants and they're mad. I haven't read further)
