Both Uncanny and Exceptional are desperate to pander to the manga fans.

They both suck at it.

(The context here is that there is a movie about mutants and they're mad. I haven't read further)

Mutina is a Mojo-like media themed villain who Simone is hyping as her big contribution to Xmen lore since no one likes her OCs. IIRC Mutina is a mutant who financed/starred in an indie horror film about a mutant serial killer (played by her) with the twist being that she's actively stirring up any mutant prejudice to make money.for herself since she doesn't give a shit about anything but what makes her monet at the end of the day.

Progressives being in charge of the X-Men is the issue of they can never explore any issue without the X-Men justifying being a-holes. It’s not bad when one is writing, but it seems like when it’s fully controlled the racists are just caricatures of propaganda.

This weeks Ultimate Wolverine feels like another letdown.

I thought we were getting a battle to the death between Wolverine and some freakshow birdy.

But it doesnt play out that way.
