Some BC content has been delisted. I'm talking about everything in the marketplace being public domain.Isn't most if not all of this content still available on the One and Series marketplaces?

Stuff being delisted doesn't men it isn't accessible though, so it isn't like it isn't/can't be preserved. Some BC content has been delisted.
Let me rephrase myself. When I say "accessible," I meant not having games being "lost" because they were delisted or its respective marketplace being closed.Stuff being delisted doesn't men it isn't accessible though, so it isn't like it isn't/can't be preserved.

They made the Xbox One about as unappealing as possible when it was new, which torpedoed every last bit of goodwill they built with the 360. They never earned it back, either. Though I'm sure a lot of Series Ss were sold entirely because it was the only new home console you could get for a long time. The very first time I even saw a Series X in-store was about a year ago now, that being two years after launch. And I didn't even see any kind of PS5 until this past Spring.I feel like a lot of 360 owners never bought the newer consoles. I never did. I always meant to fill out my digital library, but the pricing always sucked. I got Saints Row for two bucks, but everything else seems to start at $10.
I could see shutting down the 360 market as an attempt to get people to upgrade, but they won't.
In the newer 360 models, the D-pad is louder than the older controller. It felt weirdly gummy? I'm not sure how to explain it. The D-pad on the 360 should have been fine, but it just... wasn't.
you could ask over in the tech forum, but you'll probably get different answers for that. what's your TV? because that will mostly decide which GPU you probably want, rest goes from there.Advise me pls gamerz
I had a 360 and loved it and owned a ton of games. Even replaced it after the BGA soldering red ring of death struck.
I then “upgraded” to an Xbone S. find the interface to be dogshit, the games unappealing, but wanted to keep playing with friends occasionally (and I pay for gamepass to do that).
Now I discover the latest game (Forza) doesn’t work on my Xbone S. what do? Buy a series S or X? I just don’t feel like I got my moneys worth out of this one.
OR, build a PC that is at least as good as a series S. How much would that cost? Where do I start?
Building a PC on the level of a Series S is going to cost you around 600 minimum unless you go with used parts. If you have a copy of Windows 10 or 11 lying around and don't have to buy that you could knock off about 100 bucks. (this is a rock bottom PC as well, I wouldn't expect it to run *everything* at 60fps smooth even at 1080p).Buy a series S or X? I just don’t feel like I got my moneys worth out of this one.

If it's working well enough, yeah, I'd go with that. Thanks guys. Do you know what, I tried the cloud play option and it actually works, so I’ll probably just stick with that for now since it won’t cost me anything extra.
I guess that’s a strong point of Xbox?!
Depending on your budget and how important 4k is to you, I would recommend PC.Advise me pls gamerz

It would take like three minutes to connect your 360 to wifi + a potential system update. 360 save data is all local (with the option of using cloud saves) so you don’t have to worry about that. As for downloaded games, I don’t want to just say “get with the times, grandpa” because there are genuine concerns, but they’re extremely rare and are no cause for concern 99.999% of the time. The only example of digital purchases being taken away that I’ve ever gone through is for some old iPhone apps.I tried rebooting my Xbox 360 today and couldn’t get connected to the network of my house. It’s been years since I used it, and I likely have to reconfigure the network, but don’t really feel like doing so. Ergo, I’m returning to my Xbox One for the moment, but will likely delve back into using Steam. I feel like I’m at an impasse as far as what to do.
I’m used to having a console and having a tangible disc. Downloading a game, even if it is more environmentally efficient, still runs me the wrong way. Maybe I’m ‘tarded (I am), but I feel like that could be wiped at any time. A tangible item is mine and can’t be jacked.
I may just revert back to my Super Nintendo and siphon off of my friends’ accounts, once I reconnect to those in the 3D realm. I’m fucking tired of the world becoming more complicated.
Suggestions and guidance regarding reconnecting my Xbox 360 would be appreciated. I was trying to get it up and running so I could play L.A. Noire again. I could play it, but don’t want to do it and then not have my gameplay saved. I’m not as technologically savvy as others in the Farms.
