My last phone was an LG Stylo 6...didn't even last a year before it started glitching on me.
Just got a Samsung Galaxy S21 for $300 from Best Buy (paid extra for the black tie warranty since i got it for cheap), so Idk what my next phone will be because I won't need a new phone for awhile.

I posted in here and didn't even mention what phone I have.
I've got a Samsung S20 Ultra 5GWTFBBQ. Pretty nice, but it makes me miss my S8 Active some times.
I could use that one as a hammer.

Moto g power 2020. Best budget phone by far in terms of balancing battery life (12-14 hours SOT), performance, and price. Still had a SD card slot and headphone jack too.

The 2021 edition was a downgrade in every way. Less standard ram, 720p display, mono audio. Bleh.

I'm keeping this one for awhile. My last phone was a 4 year old moto z play that decided it's radio was no longer acceptable and yeeted it.

About the only way I'll upgrade before it is necessary is if the stars align and Google releases a phone the size of the 4a with a 5000+ mah battery for the 4a's price.

This is my current phone. It's like a year and a half old and it's got phantom touches, plus it blew a speaker.

In my experience, LG phones are pretty good, but this one disappointed me.

Got the Z Flip 3 last month. My first Android phone in a while, and so far, it's been a real solid phone. The crease in the middle takes some getting used to, for sure, but it's not really bothersome once you get used to it. I'm also a whore for nostalgia, so there's that too.

I was interested in the flip phones since the Razr came out, but the bad reviews kept me from taking the plunge. Decided to wait until this one, which got good reviews.

I don't like to spend much on the phone, so I tend to get Tracfones in the 50-80 dollar price range. I've been holding out for one that is 1) at least Android 10 and 2) USB-C but the ones they have that aren't Samsung bloatware phones are pricey. So I am probably stuck with this 2017 Motorola for awhile longer.

The neo-flip phones interest me. I am not a luddite, but I miss being able to close the screen and it taking up less room in my pocket. It was also nice to have the clock on the outside. So I'm looking forward to Chinese knock offs causing the price of those to come down in the future.

Current - Samsung Galaxy A71
Next - Pixel most likely

Not that I'm in the market for a phone. I like the one I have. No major issues with it.

ZTE ZMAX2
honestly it's done basically everything I've needed
only complaint was that week Pokemans Go was a thing it doesn't have the gyrothingy to make it show the pokeyman in the irls
over the past few months the menu buttons at the bottom died so now I'm using the handi-capable menu option because I think I have to re-install shit if I wipe to to fix the button issue

Current: free iphone5s, iirc it cost me 30 bux for the battery kit a few years ago.
Next: A free 6s. After I stop being lazy and get a battery kit for it.

6s is the last phone with an headphone jack so I will probably try collect a few spares for the future.

Past: HTC 626s
Current: Xperia L2
Future: Whatever I can afford at that time.

My Xperia is showing signs of wearing like the antenna being spotty, I have to restart the phone at least 4 times a day to make it work again. Other than that, the phone works normally.

Currently on a Galaxy. interested in the Nokia 6310 reboot. ideally id like a sonim xp3 plus but im spergy about color and need a white exterior phone.

eta: the phone i want most in the entire world is the galaxy folder 2, a Galaxy flip phone that looks like the LG lollipop but has smart capabilities like maps and Android apps. it's discontinued and only available in south korea. i don't wanna pay $200+ for it lol. and idk if i can do another smart / Google suite kind of phone

My phone situation is fucked so I'm gonna use this to vent.

First: OnePlus One bought off ebay. That thing lasted me about 3 years and is still functional. I replaced the screen because I have a nasty habit of breaking my phones. I have this phone around as a backup but will need to get a SIM adapter and install a modern firmware for it to make it work seamlessly.

Second: My cursed phone. OnePlus 3 bought off ebay. The seller was a POS and sold me a lemon and refused to take it back until I left a bad review but I had already bought a bettery replacement from ebay. I eventually just said fuck it, gave the phone to my brother for him to use (he gave it back after a while, saying the bettery was fucked - it was) and threw down a couple hundred for:

Third: Xiaomi redmi note 7 bought new off of Amazon. Great phone, had it almost 3 years now. Issue is, my aforementioned skills at breaking phones. Right now, the front screen is shattered/unusable, the whole phone is bent at about a 5 degree angle. It looks like the radios still work and the battery is fine; it stays turned on, receives all messages, etc. But I'm not sure if the USB-C connector is still working. Am going to test that tonight. Idk how to get my shit off of that if it isn't. I also don't know if this thing is fixable with a realistic budget.

So I bought an actual, non bootleg fix kit and battery from iFixit for the OnePlus 3. So far its been a great temp phone, but I recently cracked the fucking screen when it bounced out of my gym shorts and onto the fucking concrete. Replacement screen looks to be $30 on ebay, but idk about quality.

tl;dr Fuck phones. I'd love it if the PinePhone was more reliable, because KDE Mobile looks pretty slick actually and fuck the Android ecosystem. But reviews say Linux on phones is still pretty shaky. I wish it was better, it would make things so much nicer.

Right now, I need to determine if I can get my shit off my Xiaomi, then determine if its fixable. Then on to finding a hopefully cheap but nice replacement screen for the OnePlus 3. Then if Xiaomi isn't fixable, pick out a new phone, or determine what it would take to refurb the OnePlus One.

Motorola G9+, was the best unlocked mid tier phone bang for buck, great battery life with 5000mAh put it on an upfront year long plan, unlimited calls and texts, 15gb of data for 90 bucks.

Before that I had a Moto G6, before that I rocked a Samsung Note 4 for years with a few replacement batteries and a battery pack. Great phone is still very snappy just the battery life is fucked as they are just so old now.
