My phone is about to have its 9th birthday. The battery wasn't holding a charge well, but I popped it open and found a spicy pillow so that's solved.

I know things don't last forever and I should plan ahead, but I don't wanna pick a new phone.

You will buy a new, bloated piece of Chinese (or Korean) and NSA spyware and you will enjoy it.

They still make flip phones and dumb phones. Check out KaliOS if you don't want a full smartphone

It's a Galaxy Note 4. Emails and web are helpful, but I am not big on apps beyond that. Other than the browser and email client, I mostly end up using the Steam authenticator and my wifi network control app, and those rarely.

Actually, I get a lot of use out of the calculator app, but that came pre-installed.

Pheonix 4 as my main throwaway phone. Have lost 2 or broken em, they're $40 walmart phones I keep minimal info on.

Samsung galaxy S7 as my important stuff, doesn't leave the house phone, but that recently gave up the ghost after about a decade of use. Godspeed, you stupid little brick.
Next phone next week is gonna be switching to TMobile limited and a CAT S22 flip phone. Does phone stuff with limited smart phone stuff like Navigation, or authenticator.
Then back to my iPod touch for music. Computer for internet stuff. And a camera when I need to take pictures.
2008 will return, bitches.

KaiOS does have a third party authenticator app that works for it, can't help with the wifi control app. The browser depends on the screen size of the phone you get though.

Fair phone is coming out with it's Gen 5 model soon.

Personally I'm on a Pixel 7 and will get a Pixel 8 or 9 next year. It's good enough, not super expensive and NOT AN IPHONE

I have a 2021 motorolla edge. When I bought it, I foolishly thought I would be fine without a micro SD slot, and that the 256 gb on board storage would be fine. Now, one year later, I am mad.

I need a phone to call cunts and occasionally send an SMS....

My 2021 Moto G Power turned out to be a massive piece of shit, constantly needing hard reboots as it froze at complete random. Wound up replacing it with a used Pixel 5 which has been rock solid so far. Highly recommended for anyone wanting stock android with minimal bloat and above average hardware. (if you're even mildly schizophrenic you can load GrapheneOS on it too).

Pixel 7.
Took a day to get rid of Google's camera software that decides to just draw what it wants instead of what's actually there.
And I'm too lazy to change the os...

i have an LG v60, its a bit bulky and heavy but the battery is no joke. quad DAC with 3.5 aux/SD card slot/OLED screen means i'm going to have this for quite a while. I still have older battery replaceable v series around incase SHTF. Only have something from this decade for the camera, though anything past 4k for video recording is too much.

Am happy with my iPhone SE (2020) and when I replace it will likely be based on when the latest iOS becomes unavailable vs. when TouchID gets reintroduced.

I sold for peanuts my Redmi 9 now that it started to show me ads inside the interface, and got a used Samsung J5 and a LG K52 from a pawn shop. I decided to not buy new phones and go for used ones instead from now on since it looks like the phones are now stalled in just "add more cameras/bigger cameras"

The Samsung is replacing my Huawei P8 lite that I use to shitpost and as a burner, the LG is my main phone and so far I am happy with both of them
