Your first exposure to Chris

I first discovered Chris during the Asperchu Saga. I read everything I could find about him in the span of a few days, then walked away.

I rediscovered Chris and the surrounding madness back in September 2013. I read the CWCki, then lurked the forum for a few months. I signed up this morning.

Any way to find this reference? Was it a real letter from Bob or did I misread that?

Nah, there's a pretty real chance it was a different autist entirely. I don't think it's ever been chronicled that Chris ever took more than a glance at the Zelda series so I just took it as a hilarious coincidence. May have been Chris, probably wasn't.

I swear I spent every day from January and February 2010 just reading through every page on the CWCki, going through what seemed like an endless mass of information on this guy.

Honestly, discovering him was like a miracle to me, because it was during my "Run away and join the circus" phase of life and I was being quite the jackass during that time, it really made me feel a whole lot better to know that there was someone far, far worse than me. I know that kind of thinking is frowned upon here, but the writing was still on the wall.

The Hardcore Kid's (somewhat misinformed and a-loggy) video was my first real exposure. It made me feel dirty after hearing about this guy. I had heard the name before, but I didn't really know. Last year during camp, I was reminded by a friend about Chris. I didn't know why he was deserving so much hate for doing what he loved. I then learned that he was really homophobic, but I didn't find out much else. Flash forward to late december 2013. I decided to buckle down and learn about this Chris fellow. Flash forward eight months, and here I am.

Start of this year, when I read on ED that he burnt his house down -- I mean, the manajerks at Keuring attempted an assassination

I never took the time to explain how I first learned about our dear Chris - Chan...

Pretty simple, really - some SJW on YouTube named lillylivers (She's likely gone now, and good riddance.) ranted about him. There were other people who ranted on what a train-wreck of a person he is, but that['s just the beginning of me wanting to learn more about this guy - just so I could make fun of him, too, someday.

Later on, I started watching dramatic readings of his comic (same place). Finally, I found his ED page... My life was changed forever.

I first heard of our dear Mr. Chandler some time in Autumn 2008. I was subbed to an "Anti-Twihard" youtube channel that would pretty much make fun of people who would post videos demanding you either like Twilight or shut up. At the end of one, they posted part of the McIntire Park news broadcast and added Left 4 Dead 2 voice clips to it. I got Chris's name from the comments and eventually found the Cwcki.

And that's the story...

My first exposure to CWC was the ED article. Hitting the random page button lead me to it and I wasn't sure how I should react so I found my way to the CWCki. After reading more about our autistic hero's antics, I decided that it was totally something I had to follow (because I LOVE a good train wreck). Not long after, I saw the Kimmi sex tape and the rest is history.

I was introduced to Chris through the ED article. I then introduced the article to my roommate and we both fell down the Lolcow rabbit hole hard. What made it just a little more interesting is that Jason Kendrick Howell was a neighbor of ours so once we found out that he made the article and was getting contact with him, my roommate and I got front row seat to the train wreck.
JKH ended up moving on from Chris Chan but I must say, I and my former roommate can't stop watching Chris.

My very first exposure was in 2008. A friend and I were on 4chan at school and stumbled across this picture:
ChrisMomsPanties.jpg
We were so amused we set it as the desktop wallpaper.

I wouldn't find out about who Chris actually was until months later, when I somehow found myself on his ED page. I was excited that I had finally found the origin of the photo that had perplexed me and found myself mesmerized by...well, everything. Eventually I stopped going on his ED article because it was so disorganized but eventually found the CWCki (probably through youtube or something) around 2009ish. That's when I really got sucked in. I didn't get a job right out of high school, so I spent months on end basically doing nothing but watching CWC videos. It was a grand ol' time.

I learned of Chris around 2009 or 2010, when I came across the page on ED. My initial thoughts on the guy were sympathetic, but as I read on, it became "This loser is pathetic", especially after I read about the Megan saga.

I'm ashamed to admit, it was through the TVTropes entry for Sonichu. I only gave the page a quick glance before deciding two things:
  1. I wanted to read this comic, and
  2. This "Chris" fellow was obviously around 14 years old.
Wrong on both counts!

A while ago, back when I did more stuff online. I was the moderator of a chatroom on a Pokemon episode streaming website (don't ask), and someone mentioned CWC in the chat to another person. When their response was less than enthusiastic ("Don't go there. Just, don't."), I knew I must know what he was.

This was back in 2009/2010. I forgot about him after reading some of the more disgusting stuff on ED. And I returned out of curiosity.

i first learned about Chris through Encyclopedia Dramatica when i was 17 in 2009. i stumbled apon him after i looked up my own ED article.

Laughing at how i acted back then, i was curious to see if there was any funny or interesting articles on Sonic fans as they seemed to be all the rave on the site.... Then I came across Chris-Chan, who became one of my favorite internet idols, for being that one guy that was worse than Sonmanic and Snapesnogger and being the kind of guy where you could say 'just when you think he can't possibly get any worse, SOMETHING always tops it'.

After followong him on ED for awhile and realizibg it wasn't updating much, I moved onto the CWCki where I now learn more about this astounding 'creature'

Encyclopedia Dramatica in November of 2007, shortly after Chris was discovered. He was the featured article back then and I read it and stayed on top of it. I was fascinated.

It was amazing. I remember checking on the article frequently once I noticed the weird edits Chris had added.

Chris has been my favorite soap opera over the past seven years.

I found his ED page in early 2010 or late 2009, not sure which. It was the most glorious thing I'd ever read and I HAD to know more. I haven't lost interest since.

Through ED material on SJWs, I found ADF, who we all know is Jack Thaddeus. The engine mount rattling in the day out video was the hook
