Way back when the Brony stuff had started (So late 2010 early 2011 I guess?), one of the forums I frequent (Was either Bay12, Facepunch, or one of the chans) had some Brony who was getting yelled at by forum regulars calming "Hey, at least we aren't that Chris Chan asshole". So of course I decided to look up who this Chris fellow was, perhaps to make a well thought out rebuttal (aka shitpost) to the brony.

Instead I spent the next few days browsing a large chunk of the Cwcki, convinced I had seen the worst of it, then finding out more and more. I then mostly forgot about him until later that year when I heard Bob passed away, and then the Tomgirl thing happened. Been following his antics on and of since then, as sporadic as they are.

My first exposure to Chris happened as a chance encounter at his local burger king. Having listened to the Kacey calls I was aware of how insecure he was about his pickle, so I thought I'd open up to him and show him mine.

My sister posted on her facebook back in 2011 that her x was as stupid a Chris Chan. I did not understand the post and looked up the name. My first video was about how it is ok to poop your pants.

In an IRC for another forum, a guy who followed Chris (and was involved on the earlier forums) posted a couple of Classic Chris Pics, including the Love Quest pics and one in Barb's underwear. Then he linked to the CWCki when people started predictably asking who the fuck the loony was. It was sometime in 2009, about the time of the Liquid/Lacey Saga, so a lot was going on and there was interesting stuff to read. And, well, he's sort of hard to look away from.

I discovered Chris when I was randomly browsing TVtropes and bumped into an article about Sonichu. The article was much meaner, and funnier, back then befofore TVtropes decided that everything should be nice and full of rainbows so no one gets their feels hurt.

Embarrassingly enough, I discovered Chris on a pony imaging site. There was a heavily downvoted pic of Chris, and I asked who he was. The response I got in the comments was overwhelming. The first video of him I watched was his Future message video. And it was all downhill from there.

Late 2009/early 2010 on ED. Ended up reading about cindilovespiccolo, that crazy Optimus Prime lady, Kevin Havens and Chris all at once as the links went further and further down the crazy hole. Chris is just the most fascinating. He's the Bruce Lee of the lolcow kingdom.

Well, it was the NP magazine first in 05, then later on on the Toucher and Rich segment. I remember it clearly cause it was 4 am my time when it aired, and all I could remember thinking while listening to it was "wtf is this?" Then later on I was linked to the ED article through dA, and managed to catch the end of the Kacey saga. During the winter break I managed to catch up on the CWCki and frequented since.

My fiance had actually shown me the Sonichu comics sometime around the beginning of the year. He showed me the issue where Sonichu and Rosechu are having sex and Chris takes a retarded amount of time explaining their anatomy and how Sonichu must bend forward for 'gravity' to let the penis slide out. Being my fiance, he had shown me other weird stuff like that 'foreverially tied-up ham mouse with a cheese tongue' guy, but at first I thought it was some really sick kid with issues who had done it as a prank or some war against the internet. We laughed, made jokes about the 'facts' given about the hedgehog Pokemon, and then I just kinda forgot about it.

I returned to Chris when my fiance had brought up a joke about penises and gravity, and wanted to see if there was more to laugh at. I was assuming at the time that the rest of his comics ("He's got a ton of this Sonichu shit," as the fiance explained) was boring and that there wasn't much to know about why the guy who drew them was so weird. I was delightfully corrected when I found his ED page and then the Cwcki forum (ED can get NSFW and Cwcki was able to make better jokes without swearing like a 12 year old while doing so, so I started going there instead). My interest turned to shock, which turned to disgust, which turned to bafflement, which then turned into amusement. Since then I've been trying to convert my friends to Sonichu and Chris' amazing life story, but it doesn't go over well when the punchline is "The point is he's a freak."

Oh-so excite to be here! This is my very first post!

I stumbled upon CWC a loooong time ago. Around 2007-2008, I'd say? I'd follow him on and off, but never did I delve much deeper than just watching whatever fuckload of shit he'd upload on YouTube. He just happened to come to mind a few months ago out of nowhere. I looked him up again for the first time in YEARS and I've become addicted to the lulz once again.

I was so excited to find this forum! Can't wait to have internet hangsies with you people.

I think I first came across his work when one of the Christian and the Hedgehog Boys songs was the Video of the Now. I didn't think much of it, but I recall looking at the cover artwork and thinking, "Well, making fun of the 8-year-old who did this isn't exactly cool." It wasn't until some months later when I was browsing ED again, and kept seeing OPL's name mentioned as an example of incredible stupidity. I gave into my curiosity and clicked on the link, and the full horror was revealed.

I'm not really into lolcows in general, but with Chris there was just so much. You'd think he couldn't get any worse, couldn't do anything more disgusting or more stupid and then you'd read something else and discover that yes, he could. This was during the Jackie saga, and with his hit-and-run, his burning his house down and his bizarre transgendered lesbian soul clit insanity, he's continued to get stranger.

For me, I was already a fan of shit like Gonterman Kicks Ass, which was devoted to MST3King shitty comics. After I had encountered nonsense like.... Well, most of what Daveykins created, and bullshit like Rework the Dead and the errant Chick Tract, me and several friends began looking about for new meat to laugh at. It was all in good fun, and I was kind of pleased to learn that some of our favorite shitty comic makers, such as Gonterman, gradually improved over time and wound up having a sense of self-awareness over it, which I genuinely respected.

But I digress.

As luck should have it, at around this time, our Autistic Hero decided to lash out against 4Cent Garbage, and wound screaming random bullshit on several boards, including /tg/, which I frequent and left us very confused as to what the fuck just happened. This led to the inevitable discovery of his ED page, and ultimately, the CWCki, where we quickly learned that there was something more here than one simple lolcow. Chris himself was a phenomenon, and one that I, at the time, doubted would present itself again, giving us a fascinating view of one man's descent into madness.

And then ParkourDude and Golden Knight decided to prove me wrong, and there was much alcoholism.

Somehow through my internet browsing I dug up ED, and naturally I found Chris Chan after discovering what a lolcow was. I searched around that page and I kept clicking on links till I got to this weird site with a logo that had a little kid's elbow awkwardly placed on a recolored Pokeball.
When I got to the CWCki I couldn't believe this guy was real and still acting like a spoiled kid on summer break well into his 30's. As one forum member said, he's basically an anti-human, everything that the modern internet user hopes to never end up like. I thought it was some kind of hoax or something, till I saw the Watch & Win video. It seemed that his life basically went downhill from there and he degenerated into a manchild. I thought I'd only look into it for a day or two and move on, but somehow I got hooked. What really got me into him, for whatever reason, was his shitty English skills and the Way that he Writes Things, more than his horrible art or disturbing behavior.

Back in the summer of 2008, I was extremely bored after talking to a friend online. I had recently found out about ED and clicked on Chris-Chan in the deviantArt portal thinking that it was just some weeaboo with some sort of weird fetish. Boy was I wrong. I followed the article for years but I never really participated in anything until last month when I made an account here on the forums.
