Mine isn't bendy, but it's definitely made from two separate pieces glued together. I'm not going to try to flex it.

Well, Nameless One, he has had 33 to practice on before mine and it's still consistently inconsistent. I think he is going to get bored of doing them if the volume of orders drops.

They're definitely light enough to be a Christmas tree ornament. I was fiddling with mine and came to the conclusion that it's like a really really light foam. I don't know if it's because he rush made mine but it's extremely bendy too.

No, I think that's generally the texture of CFMM. The stuff is super-porrus (think "Spongebob theme song") as to allow the mixing-in of the paint, so it pretty much IS a foam-like substance.

I wonder, if Chris makes enough of these, whether he'll improve or at least become more consistent. He was really hamstrung by procrastinating until the last minute and rushing to make each one in a short amount of time, so he couldn't take his time and develop any sort of consistent technique and I doubt he ever will with the small trickle of future orders he'll get after this.
Chris has been drawing Sonichu for years and it still looks how it looks. I think his particular set of perceptual problems and his chronic procrastination ensures that "consistent" is a word that will never be used to describe anything he does.

So...is the consistancy of these about the same as the True and Honest one worn by Chris? Does it have about the same characteristics as if it was made out of Crayola fucking Model Magic and acrylic PAINT?

I think so. I had Crayola Model Magic when I was a kid. I have a clear memory that it was a lot lighter than I expected, and had some give when it dried, but bounced back to the initial shape. That seems to be what people are describing.

Is it not made of Model Magic? I had thought it was.

On another note. I just reread the listing and it mentions he cemented it together with Kragle. I had no idea what Kragle is, so I googled it. Apparently in the Lego movie, there was a thing called Kragle which was a tube of Krazy Glue with some letters misising. So I am guessing Chris meant Krazy glue? That's pretty dumb.

Oh, I don't know. I thought "Kragle" was some sculpting material that he used to actually form the medallions, based on how he autisticly worded the description. Looking at the details of the listing though, it says "clay." Although I assume that's pretty vague.

Chris couldn't murder his way out of a wet paper bag. Too soft and flabby. He'll have to stick with doing it through comics..
He couldn't murder his way through a round of SoulCalibur. Even at lowest difficulty level and cheat codes active.

Maybe it'll be slower, like Jeff Goldblum's transformation in The Fly. If I get the urge to start wearing ill-fitting rugby shirts, I will know it's too late.

Kragle is Krazy Glue as seen in The Lego Movie. Something about some letters being covered so that's what they called it when some spazz kid glued them in place permanently.

I assume it was model magic, unless someone has specific reasons to believe othewise.

a) Model magic has some of the unusual properties mentioned by people who have received it.
b) I don't think clay means anything in particular. One might use the word clay to refer to model magic, particularly if you were choosing options from a dropdown menu. It is easily moldable, and then you let it dry and it keeps it shape.
c) The original one is model magic. That would give Chris a lot of reasons to use it. It would be the first thing he would think of. He knows it works well. It would appeal to him that he was creating a replica using the same material, we know how important he thought the original material was.

I suppose the alternative is that is a knockoff Model Magic.

Update:

Q: Hello. The original medallions that you wore were made using Crayola Model Magic and acrylic paint. Are you using the same materials to make these nice items? Have a pleasant day.

A:
Yes, I am using the same, but fresh, materials.

I asked Chris about non-Sonichu medallions and got a yes! I have like a thousand ideas but I can't decide, I'm gonna give him a couple of ideas and let it be a surprise.

My sweet-ass medallion will most likely be Yu-Gi-Oh-related though. All of those fucking card game nerds are gonna be so jealous.

I would caution people that if you have Chris make medallions of characters he doesn't know, don't complain if it ends up looking like total shit. You've seen the quality he produces with characters that he's known for a long time and are important to him.
