Your Video Game Elevator Pitch - Original Ideas - Do Not Steal!

Dark Souls except it's the revolution, suburbia is on fire, and you're a naked weeb who sets out to slay every CEO with nothing but a sharpened curtain rod

A Leisure Suit Larry reboot that is as funny as the 80’s games were.
That's gonna be hard when point and click games and inputting commands with a keyboard are out of fashion, and both of those being in fashion was what made the first game work so well. It just doesn't work anymore so they'd have to adapt it to modern times which would blow ass.

Elevator pitch: 3D Pentesting game inspired by Uplink with RPG elements, where the player could be a blackhat or whitehat.

Long version:
A semi-realistic hacking game along the lines of Uplink, but with a lot of expansion. More systems, programs that mimic pre-existing pentesting software such as Empire or Armitage, an actual physical 3D word for physical penetration and social engineering. 3D spaces could be randomly generated with an algorithm, creating a near endless amount of potential structures. There'd be a dialogue system reminiscent of FO:NV, with several options, skill or knowledge checks, and rpg-like elements. There'd also be a disguise system similar to the one in the new Hitman games with "enforcer" npcs and certian levels that certian disguises can get you into. There'd be pentesting contracts, such as "test our security: break into our datacenter" or blackhat contracts, such as "break into our rival's datacenter and deploy this rootkit/virus/etc" as well as standard hacking contracts such as "steal this file" or "nuke this system" or "frame this person".

I've had this game idea in my head for years, but I'm no game designer. I have no idea if this'd be any fun. Thoughts?

Nothing big, just a PC version of tabletop 40k.

No dice rolling. just convert it all to percent chances. Or have both if people still want to see the dice roll.

Eliminate measuring. Click a unit and an outline would show all possible areas to move. During shooting or charging phases all targets in range of the currently selected unit would be in a list or something. Possibly even color code the targets to the different weapons of the selected unit.

Allow modding ofc, and creating custom scenarios/ ongoing campaigns. The modding would allow creating of house rule sets, or even completely new gameplay modes. Be allowed to create custom models to import/share.

This is all envisioning the use of tabletop sim-like static models and whatnot. If we wanted to AAA this shit, then have fully animated models and effects. Even have little cut scenes play when a unit is running/charging/etc, with the ability to turn any of these off at will in case people just want to have faster play.

Edit - LOL I'm a tard. I totally misread the thread title, my bad all!

A survival horror game that doesn't fucking suck. One that has great atmosphere and sound design, with lots of surrealism and symbolism.

Basically, Silent Hill. Make Silent Hill Great Again.

Imagine Warhammer with RFID chips in the miniatures and terrain, so that everything can be tracked on a tablet.
That's the future of TG, imo.

"An open world RPG that's like Daggerfall with the dungeons and towns. It has weapon and armor designs of real, practical and fantasy, impractical. Main quest is like Daggerfall but it can play like Oblivion, Dark Souls and Dragon's Dogma and you can create your party. And it can be modded to be more flexible and stable than a Bethesda game and easier to use. In fact mods are all you need to fix whatever problems are with the game.

"First person stealth game in modern times but all your doing is flashing before various adults in various ways and to fight off cops, you have to shoot sticky white stuff at them. You got limited charges of sticky white stuff and you are fragile as fuck. Harder than Sekiro and Dark souls. You only get one chance because capture means you're looked up for a good amount of time."

"A realistic FPS MMO where you can play as any military group and once you die, you're dead for good. You can be restricted only to the weapons of your military and other guns must be taken from dead or captured enemies. Premium stuff like weapon skins must be charged at a premium for anyone that wants to have a nice golden deagle but it has to be gone for good if their character dies which means they must pay money again if they can't get it back from whoever looted the weapon. There is no main quest beyond killing anyone."

"Knights Of The Half-Pipe"

Think THPS, but with a variety of medieval weaponry. Doing damage to others or killing them affects your current combo. Damage bonuses from momentum. Online gamemodes based around deathmatches, including cooperative maps where you team up to kill bosses.

CWC: LOVEQUEST - an rpg/dating sim where you play an autistic man seeking a true and honest gal pal to make her a sweetheart from the ground up, while defeating trolls, Laguna Blue and random GameStop employees.

I've had this idea brewing for awhile. It's an asymmetric platformer where you use rhythm to platform according to the music to platform. The beats of the music inform your platforming and if you go off beat you either fall or can execute a maneuver in order to recover your momentum.

A metafictional game where a failed 90s gaming mascot has to hunt down other failed 90s gaming mascots and turn them in to the police, armed with nothing but a ray gun.

Edit: If you're wondering about the genre, it's a 2D platformer.
The Jimmy Neutron game might interest you.
