For Macfags, yt-dlp from Homebrew is the way to go. "brew upgrade yt-dlp" is the powerword. I've never had a problem updating yt-dlp since IIf you have installed yt-dlp in any way that isn't: from pip, or from the single file download on the yt-dlp Github, you are almost certainly doing it wrong. You need to be able to keep up to date.
Source | ArchiveAds are a vital lifeline for our creators that helps them run and grow their businesses. That’s why the use of ad blockers violate YouTube’s Terms of Service. We’ve launched a global effort to urge viewers with ad blockers enabled to allow ads on YouTube or try YouTube Premium for an ad free experience.
they got what amounts to an automated response that saw the word 'ad'. i'm not sure why they think this is a real human response. it doesn't even have anything to do with the problem in question.A news website, Androidauthority.com, has decided to contact Google about this and this is what they got:
Years ago, I remember not realizing my mom had Youtube on the TV and there was a fucking half hour long ad for a hair loss remedy. Everyone was already doing something else and I only noticed after wondering why the music stopped after 5 or so minutes. Thankfully it was skippable, but that shit apparently has only gotten worse.YouTube now can show you 60-minute unskippable ads
remember guise, ad blocking is piracyYouTube now can show you 60-minute unskippable ads
Bet that would cause PR problems for Youtube though if people ran with the idea that was a real response. If they get enough heat for that it, they'll come out with "clarification."they got what amounts to an automated response that saw the word 'ad'. i'm not sure why they think this is a real human response. it doesn't even have anything to do with the problem in question.
Brave mobile still works. Picture in Picture too. TOTAL WOJCICKI DEATH! …oh waitunskippable ads
Yes and no? I haven't noticed any big breaks in ublock lately but youtube also only has a 360p video quality option for most of my videos. Also randomly certain livestreams won't load even when they work completely fine in Brave (with no ads and also you can choose quality options.) I'm up in the air whether they're targeting Firefox, Ublock, or me specifically.I've been out of the loop because I get premium for free (I can't cancel it so I figure I might as well use it)- is ublock origin still going back and forth trying to keep up with blocking the ads?
thanks, looks like brave is the way to go, at least for youtube. or invidious.Yes and no? And for downloading YouTube videos, at least on mobile, yt1s usually worksthanks, looks like brave is the way to go, at least for youtube. or invidious.
It appears to be an hour long Minecraft video.Every time it catches on to Brave, which was like once, I just cleared my cookies and adblock works again. Youtube is retarded.
What was that ad for anyway? I feel like they should be bullied too.
