YouTubers (or certain types of Youtubers) that make you irrationally angry. - Because we can never have too much seething about the current state of YouTube

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Pranksters.
The ones who just basically assault people in public in various ways and film it for views.
I saw one video the other day where they were throwing cans at people's heads and then pretending they don't know what's happening.

I think I might go to prison if one of them ever tries that shit with me.

Anyone who abruptly stops their video to say "By the way, I can see that only X% of you watching my content are subscribed..." There was a point where it felt like every YouTuber was doing it. Even ones I genuinely liked and respected.

Mercifully, this practice has died off in recent years, but every once in a while I'll still come across some smug little faggot who does it. It makes me irrationally angry to the point where I'll go out of my way dislike the video and ask YouTube to blacklist their channel. I don't think I ever started disliking videos before people started doing that.

People who make videos like ""20 WORST GANGS/DRUGS/DICTATORS/KINGS OF THE WORLD EXPLAINED", who then just read the Wikipedia with zero research, and then proceed to get 500k views. Basically even sloppier version of Turkish Troon stealing Farms highlights.

Great example of the slop:

Didn't even do enough research to put in the right James Mason.

There are so many, it's hard to categorise.

Yet the SocJus types are the ones who keep making a mess (BreadTubers et al) and making money while attempting to divert the discussion where there shouldn't be any - while there are other thinking heads behind them. After that there are the Elsagate types, followed by botfarms, and then the fake prank channels, and the ones with punchable react faces.

YouTubers who keep inserting random clips into a commentary or gameplay video. Critical Drinker is fucking awful for this and I wish SponsorBlock had a category for it so I could skip all of them.
That is a TGWTG thing that never died. You can thank Doug Walker for spreading that among movie reviewers.

Im genuinely starting to hate youtube because its becoming more censored then daytime T.V. If your channel is about rape and murder at least be willing to say those things.

That shit where they stand in front of a greenscreen and cavort about with a fucking wired mic like they're a news reporter.
This may be acceptable if they commit fully to the bit, dressing up like reviewbrah and doing the reporter voice. But most of the time it's doughy schlubs with the lolironic mullet/pedostache combo bobbing side-to-side like Hitler on pervitin and shrugging in between a billion jumpcuts holding a microphone that's supposed to be mounted on an arm because it's so self-deprecating and intentionally haphazard or something.

Given how that one guy was acquitted after shooting a prankster you might actually not.

It's the "Filler" category. Some of his more popular videos have those sections in sponsorblock so you see none of his inserts.

Thread tax: You ever watch a video about something you know a decent amount about, and the YouTuber gets something basic wrong? How about when it's one you're subscribed to? Every time this happens, it makes me second guess watching the channel again since this was only the part I caught since I know a lot about a topic. What else could they be getting wrong? Minor mistakes happen, but really basic ones on the level where they didn't even do the bare minimum really bothers me.

Lifestyle youtubers who specialise into expensive shit. Basically nouveau rich by proxy. Usually flaunting fake/inherited wealth by showing or comparing fancy hotels or restaurants.

Cooking youtubers who either use unnecessarily expensive equipment, or use too much spices to the point they might as well use rotten meat instead of expensive cuts.

"X but in Japan" youtubers that just show tourist trap locations, never giving any feedback beyond "it's delicious".

Any Youtuber who uses the clickbait titles like "Your Wrong about _____!" or "You don't understand _______!" are often insufferable faggots. I refuse to click on their videos and often make sure to click the option to stop recommending the video amd channel in my feed. I do this as a matter of principle to all know-it-all losers.

Lately when I'm doomscrolling Jewtube shorts on the shitter or whatever I am being assaulted by those Twitter post format videos where it's some goyslop movie fact or question like "Why does Wolverine shit in Spiderman's mouth?" Then there's the reply from the YouTuber like "Wolverine is kind of a mean guy and Spiderman had the Scat Symbiote at the time so he probably needed it for sustenance." Then the fucking guy is under the frame just dead staring into the camera wearing a fucking mask or a helmet or some shit while the 10 second music loop plays on repeat.

Just absolute FUCKING garbage that makes me instantly upset because they're so truncated my eyes almost instantly absorb everything before my brain realizes what has happened.

And no matter how many cocksucking times I filter these stupid fucking channels I get more. Thanks "Epicspidermanmemes" but you deserve death.

Most video essayists are fucking dogshit fart-huffing pseudo-intellectuals (looking at you, Jacob Geller) who just CANNOT shut the fuck up about their libshit politics.
Also, Max0r's hyperactive sensory overload editing style has done immeasurable damage to not just my retinas, but the YouTube scene as a whole.

YouTubers who you can tell is sponsoring whatever when you see they're sponsoring a food company in a true crime post. Just sponsoring in general.

Drama youtubers who all talk, act, and speak the same. Literal, unironic NPCs. Same video thumbnail, same gameplay, same drama that no one but a small clique will care or overextend about.

Trend chasers who don't have an original thought in their lives and are just making videos and meme posts of whatever current big thing is happening.

Artist youtubers who all do the same ideas and think the same ideas and complain about the same problems. It's almost required to have at least one "HERE'S THIS ONE TO STEP TO BE AN AMAZING ARTIST, BE THE 1%!!" video and the result is drawing like an ArtStation artist with a detailed animu style.

Quirky, 3D artists where most of them look and act like the embodiment of Sr Pelo's "Every StoryTime Animation" who overly relies on cheap humor and stops because they learned it's the quirky, funny thing to do.

These are more really specific things that annoy me more than make me irrationally angry but when you've seen the same thing from completely different crowds of YouTubers so many times, you can't help but get a bit bothered.

I don't mind reactors pretending they're watching something for the first time, but it's quite obvious when they do. I have no problem with them admitting they did. There were a few who actually say they did and invite people who didn't and it's balanced.

No, I have to listen to black people and learn from them.
There is one good black YTer who's of course not promoted because he's a conservative (a real one), although he's a bit of a fence sitter: Shady Doorags.

I don't care what anyone pro ASMR says, it's always been a pervert thing. They're free to feel otherwise I'm not gonna argue with them, but it's fucking weird and always has been.
I do listen to it to sleep, but I have to agree with you. Although what I listen ain't people but sounds.

I don't mind how people spend their money, but I do mind when I'm told I can't buy plastic stuff and these people buy tons of useless Chinese plastic trash. I remember there was at least one chic who resold them to their followers for a very low price, which it's likely that actual value (it was i think clothes).

Everyone that uses "PROBLEMATIC" in the title.

If you use the word problematic unironically you either a faggot or a woman (which is also pretty gay).

As soon as I hear "problematic", I know all of the political believes of the author.

"Problematic" means "I'm gonna overanalyse the shit out of this random thing and say the most obvious modern day takes, because I'm looking for asspats from my flock".

A lot of what I play is stuff that I only listen to while working or working on things. I end up listening to a lot of headline regurgitators because of this.

Anyone who constantly ''Hmm''s, ''yeah"s, ''uh huh''s their way through a clip they're commenting on.

Just shut the fuck up for two minutes and let me hear it so I can get an idea about what it is before you tell me why it's dumb.
