Currently playing through it at wife's request (I played the Paper Mario games growing up, and wanted to see how much better i handled the combat). Just finished the 1st area. I eyerolled at the synopsis at first because it sounds like it's going to be a preachy mess. But at least so far, it hasn't been that. The writing still has the same charm as the older games, and feels less like they're trying to make a statement, and more that they thought "wouldnt it be funny to have dracula in a Office Space-style, soul draining cubicle?" Maybe it gets worse later, but felt like they shot themselves in the foot a bit with the synopsis.

Main female character is called Aava (love in hebrew), she wants to prove herself better than everyone. Near the end she can choose to just stop and come down with a man and have a future. Or instead she can continue to climb the mountain where she will die on reaching the summit (no bitch, dying on the summit does not prove you conquered the mountain) where her last minutes is some fake spiritual journey while she dies of hypothermia.

So you can equate it modern woman wanting the almighty gigachad dick and never settling for less, dying alone achieving nothing.

They also made some kind of dating sim RPG in between Furi and Cairn, and updated it to have more diverse gender options:

So that's explain why there's a woman dlc for furi I guess...
Talking about running shit to the ground, never gave a fuck about Haven, it looked extremely gay and coulnd't comprehend if it had anything going on aside of being about 2 superpowered aliens chilling as an optionally gay couple.
Undertale may also be gay, you may not like it but it does have a story going on, as well as characters, bosses and a character design that is actually competent, this is kind of what I hate about that game, Furi had both the aura farming section where you'd get hyped about bosses in beautiful landscapes with cinematic angle, but also the boss themselves being actually fun, well designed (visually too) and provided an adrenaline pumping experience (aside of the final one, who was shit), Haven has jack and shit waving around like effemminate Dragon Ball characters and being the kind of romantic couple you hate to see when you don't act the same identical way with your girlfriend or dog (if you are a furry)/cat (if you are shane dawson)/banana (if you are atheist)/little sister (if you are nick bate)/abducted woman trapped in the basement.

They released a patch in Haven where they genderbended both the characters (Guy became a tomboy and the girl became a sissy boy) So the characters could date eachother as the same gender. The funny thing is, you could not have a straight reverse romance with the tomboy and the sissy boy and it made some of the fans mad. The devs later called those people "sexist" for wishing such a thing.

Journos would never go up against globohomo because they have the most to benefit from them. I wouldn't say that, but "sequel that expands on mechanics or builds off the setting the first one = good, sequel that's overly complicated or has character forget everything they learned last time = bad" should immediately be obvious to anyone with half a brain. It's not at all profound and not a worthwhile video to watch, but most of his other videos are just some of the worst takes imaginable, showing someone completely inept at video games, a certifiable retard, and a pompous ass, often all three.

Pretty sure the absolute worst video he ever made was the one where he explained why he didn't like Silksong.
He got skill issued at an enemy gauntlet, then he gets skill issued by the second last boss of the game, rage quits and googles the ending so he can say it wasn't worth it.
