Jeezus, I kept skipping ahead and every time it resumed playing he was talking about what kind of food they had or were going to have! One thing from that video that you can see is the difference between Leanna and Kat though, and how, while annoying as she could be, Leanna was probably WAY better for him than somebody like Kat. Kat seems like she was probably one of the worst things that could come along after Panda peaced out.
Whatever people have to say that's bad about Leanna, she at least behaved like some kind of normal person in a relationship. Can you picture Kat dancing around like Panda in this video, laughing at Phil's dumb jokes, seeming genuinely happy? What a downgrade and clearly one that has not been good for him.
I imagine some of this kind of spending was a big factor in her leaving too, no? Whereas, Kat seems to be fine with whatever as long as she's getting, apparently, 6 square meals a day and a roof over her. Panda was really active online too, even engaging directly with detractors, and probably saw a lot of things about Phil's wasteful spending and overall toxic behavior that he can probably hide from Kat by so strictly keeping her off the internet to 'protect her from trolls'. It probably had to be pretty sobering seeing his reaction to her hospital visit, knowing he was sinking an amount greater than their mortgage into mobile games every month, probably some of it while he was sitting there waiting for a nurse! Good time to get a couple games in, eh?
Kat just seems like the worst kind of partner for someone who is as lazy and sedentary as Phil. She's clearly a willing participant in his culinary gluttony. Panda seemed like she wanted a more active and positive lifestyle.
Another big difference I see is that Panda probably, don't ask me why, had an actual interest in sex with Phil, and how much of a libido could he possibly have after gorging on food delivery, gin, and sitting on the couch staring at a screen for hours after he gets off 'work' where he... sits on his ass and stares at a screen for hours? You think he was doing all this and in any way keeping up with someone in their 20s if you assume she had the normal / average sex drive? This has to kind of confirm that him and Kat have a relationship devoid of anything physical.
Idk though. It seems Panda had some at least somewhat healthy impulses by getting tf out of Fort Snort. Phil could have really dragged her down into a sad and pathetic life. Since leaving, she seems like she leads a pretty normal 20-some y/o life based on her IG.
