I'm listening to the stream of the haters that are at the court. Rainer did stay quiet for some time while his public defender was talking. He just hummed or smacked his lips or did something else. Some time later he started to add comments to what his public defender was saying.

Allegedly a journalist asked the haters (who are in the audience) in the break if they don't have any hobbies. One hater said he lives here and he has his day off from work.

I hope Rainer goes for an appeal when it's not a verdict of not guilty.

The lawyer might not get into trouble for lying to the judge if he goes "according to my client, the house was sold" instead of saying "the house was sold", but in terms of a strategy it's outright suicidal, unprofessional and utterly dimwitted to do this. It does not take much effort to check if this is true or not and if it is a lie, Rainer will be in even deeper shit. Any lawyer that allows his client to dig that sort of hole is unfit to be a lawyer.

You can remain sceptical, that's fine by me, but by this point, to me it sounds like "culturally, Chris is still a virgin".
@RomanesEuntDomus yeah idk... I'm not 100% convinced. I wonder how he was able to sell it that quickly. It was like from one day to another suddenly it was sold. And days before he was like "I'm not gonna sell it, I'll stay here!". But I'll accept that that he sold it. I'm curious where he will end up. Will he move in with Marion? Where will he live? Does he already have a new apartment or house? Did his lawyer figure something out for him?

Rainers plan involves revisions until he somehow wins. That he can't just revision any judgment until he is happy with it didn't occur to him in his stream yesterday evening.

Not even sure how the revision proceedings are handled in Germany. Is he entitled to an attorney (provided by the state) for a revision as well? Even if there is no chance in hell the outcome would be any different?
The prosecuter already stated that he isn't willing to go down to probation even if Rainer pleads guilty.

I think its very possible that he wrote an application to some apartment and thinks he will move in there since he the landlord didnt explicitly reject him.

From the newspaper North Bavaria:
Two other aggrieved parties traveled from Schwandorf, they went to Altschauerberg because "there was a big party there" and to "look at Rainer Winkler's Internet presence. The idea: "We wanted to take selfies in front of his house". But that didn't work out because Rainer Winkler immediately stormed out of the house.

The prosecutor inquired: "Why didn't you leave when he came out? Would you like it if people were standing at your door?"
The witness: "I don't have to answer that."
The prosecutor: "Thank you, that's enough for me as an answer."

Next witness: "We were standing in front of the property."

Judge: "What do you want there?"
Witness: "We wanted the dragon lord to come out."
Judge: "Why? For fun? Did you want a picture of him?"
Witness: "I don't remember. What would you do?"
Judge: "So, what did you want on the spot now?"

btw I'm sure if the judge sentences him to stop doing Youtube he'll continue with it anyways. He'll do rage vlogs and will complain and say the judge is a hater or something.

Recently released, but cut from a vlog before his court date:
Translation:
"Okay, so I just got a mail- a whatsapp mail, erm, 'Wishing you best of luck for tomorrow Rainer, in [my] office, we all made bets on you jumping out a window after being sentenced.' [looks at camera dumbfounded, shakes head] Why should I jump out a window? Guys, I survived 10 years of mobbing in school, I survived 8 years of hater mobbing, you think just cause I might end up in jail- [facepalms, fights back tears] I've seen and experienced so much stress and sorrow and asocial behaviour my entire life, you think I'd jump out a window over such a silly thing? Frankly, I expect the majority of haters to jump out a window when they realize I might be acquitted or when I am being acquitted, in case I should get acquitted. [weird headshake] Seriously..."

It's possible that him saying "I'm not gonna sell my house" was some sort of smokescreen... or he did indeed sell it very quickly. After all, the only thing affecting housing prices in his region is the Lard himself, his house and property might be a total bargain. Wouldn't even surprise me if Rainer used some ridiculously old estimate of his property's value to set the price. Think about it, the last time it was estimated was when his father died, chances are he just used that number, being blissfully unaware that property values skyrocketed... Yeah, I'm just reaching at this point, but who knows. Just imagine how funny it would be to realize the Lard sold his house for way too cheap due to his idiocy. :story: though finding takers at any price is no trivial matter...

As for what he plans for the future, I'd love to know, too. This courtroom season is going to take quite some time to pan out, easily into summer next year, so he will need some short-term accomodation at least. Given how hard it is to find a place to live, I hope he was smart enough (lol) to start looking some time ago. If he thinks he can ride out this month's court dates and then look for a place to move into by early Januars, he'll be in for a surprise.

I doubt the lawyer has any obligation whatsoever to help Rainer to look for a new place.

Last time, there was already an offer from the community on the table to buy the house, he declined. I don't think they suddenly changed their mind.

well they seemed confident, interesting for sure
though they might be idiots too and missinterpreted the proceedings
They tried at the beginning to get a deal, it did not work out. I do not see how anybody at this time can claim the court is thinking about another probation. Just either bullshit, attention seeking or idiots who don't get the timeline or know how things work. I am not saying he won't get it, I am just saying it is impossible he will get it now unless they make a deal at some point today. Which I do not see happening since the state's attorney already declined. It also doesn't help if we clog up the tread with claims without any useful source from the incide of the court room.

The judge lead into this whole thing by dangling a 5 year prison sentence over Rainer's head. That's either an indication that shit got real and probation is no longer an option -or- something to put into perspective how fucked Rainer actually is, to soften him up for a deal.

Either way probation is not off the table entirely, but I'd say very unlikely. His 7 months probation got balloned to possibly 5 years in prison, that's not a good sign and any deal offered doesn't necessarily revolve around probation, but maybe a lowered prison sentence if Rainer is cooperative and accepts the sentence without going for a revision.

I don't see it happening either and if it does fuck the German justice system because it would make zero sense. IF he gets probation it would necessarily have to be tied to quitting his online presence, they cannot honestly think something will be different just because he sold the house and makes empty promises that he's going to change his online behavior or something. If he gets probation it WILL continue and he WILL become violent again and the German tax payer WILL finance daily police sorties until the next trial for another assault charge. The judge is not stupid, she got to know that you cannot just trust the guy they call "Lügenlord" to be a good boy from now on.

allegedly, they're trying to make a deal. I bet if the judge says he has to quit youtube he'll start on another platform and will continue with provoking people.
He will start on another Plattform and under another nickname. Instead of Drachenlord he will become Liquid Drachenlord, therefore he out smarts the court order and can proceed as usual. He already applied that exact reasoning some time ago with BLM (bayrische Landesmedienanstalt).

"Dragon lord is just a fictional character so I am allowed to stream because I'm Rainer Winkler!"
