"Ich bin ned Drache, ferdammde Aggsd!" In the past he has already pretended to his own Teamspeak mod Dämon, without even trying to disguise his voice.
That was hilarious. What a good time. Or when he talked for hours with rainbow sheep on TeamSpeak. You could see through his lies it's amazing.

Rainer: "I roundhouse kicked them!"
Rainbow sheep: "and then you glowed in gold."

I do believe they do want to get a deal with him, but I also think he is a stubborn idiot who by now always kinda got his way with officials by being stubborn. The court is imho well aware that he is victim and perpetrator at the same time and besides YouTube really has no chance to get any job which he is able to do and even pays a third of what he earns now. But on the other hand, his whole relative financial success is build on expenses for the tax payers and in economic terms, his content creates a lot of external costs by keeping the fire of hate alive, which creates content for him he would otherwise be lacking

So I really don't know what will happen. I do think their first priority is to make Rainer Winkler stop being present on the internet, but at the same time I can even understand him if he rather goes to prison than stopping his only real chance of making a good living. Let's see how they solve this gordic knot. Either way an interesting case study

tl;dr: a deal must include Rainer stopping his internet career, but that could be something Rainer will never agree to (with good reasons).

I doubt Rainer would choose prison over YouTube prohibition. That would mean he's defeated and Rainer is undefeated forever obviously.

Since there's two court dates scheduled, any sentencing is going to wait till next week. But this first date delivered hard on some pretty major things.
Rainer showed up looking like a hobo.
Judge opens up with a hefty reality check for our Lard.
Rainer slowly loses his temper, comments while his lawyer is speaking.
He tries to avoid answering questions.
Haters and trolls being idiots. When you need to stand witness in a trial like this, you should really be able to explain why you went to Drachenlord, what you expected to happen and present yourself in a manner that doesn't make you look like a spaz - which they failed at.

9/10 so far. If we get an angry cryshouting stream it'll be 10/10.

This is a misconception I think. Being sent to prison doesn't mean he's defeated, it means he stood his ground against the unjust accusations and now bears the unjustified punishment with a grim determination and bravery the likes of which are unfathomable to his trolls and haters.

I mean, just look at the lyrics to "Unbesiegt".
(English translation in link btw). To those new to the Drachenlord, he's obsessed with being "undefeated" (unconquered), this song feeds into his own delusions about being some sort of valliant warrior who's withstanding the attacks against his person and can never be broken and who will always win over his adversaries.

If anything, being sentenced to time in prison will reinforce his views on being the underdog who has the entire world set against him.

I will lose my shit if they, again, give Rainer the "get out of jail"-retard treatment.
Nothing will change unless he goes into prison or something similar and gets some professional counselling that is tied to his sentence.

If that turns out to be the case, it'll just buy him some time. Seriously, his continued freedom is merely surviving on borrowed time. Sooner or later, the court will stop handling him with kiddy gloves. It's dubious if he'll get away with probation again this time, in case he does, he'll end up in some sort of legal trouble in a few years at worst and then he'll pay for his stupidity and all the good will shown to him up till then will come to bite him in the ass. After all, when the court is lenient and understanding of his mental shortcomings and living conditions just to get their good will smacked back in their face, again and again, they'll run out of patience and just go "nuclear option".

That’s the crux of it. For all its perks, the Rechtsstaat really does depend on people thinking it is much more powerful and unforgiving than it really is. And being smart enough to consneed when they realize they are fighting a battle they can’t win. It isn’t necessarily ineffective against people like Rainer, but just very, very slow to act.

Rainer would need a reminder that he cannot just do whatever he wants and sit it out. It worked with the BLM (not the blacks but the Bavarian regulatory authority for new media), it worked the last time he was charged with assault and he really has no reason to believe it will ever stop working if he’a not convicted on the 28th. Rainer will think he’a been given green light to be feudal lord of the Altschauerberg if he gets out of this without any real consequences again.

He has stated a lot of times that he'd rather go to prison than lose Youtube. Who knows. I think he'd be defeated either way.

You probably correct and I would agree. What comes to my mind right now is, that the court may see the house being sold and Rainers (claimed) willingness to move away as a sign to not act on a punishment. Because, if he moves away another court will have to deal with his upcoming shenanigans and the current judge isn't forced to bite the bullet of punishing the mental retard. Rainer is an idiot, unlikeable, unsympathetic, arrogant, he is the embodiment of the seven deadly sins, but still, sending someone like him into prison might come with a bitter after taste, for a normie atleast. Not Sure how realistic that scenario is though.
If they asked me, they should send him to North Korea for a couple of years.

Es wurde gesagt, dass der Pflichtverteidiger eine weitere Bewährung angesucht hat aber das heißt nicht, dass Rainer es bekommt. Weil der Pflichtverteidiger es nicht entscheidet sondern der Richter.

I'm going to lose patience if some people come here using telegram as source instead of reading the thread here.

I would assume that with the judge's reality check and a 5 year imprisonment looming over his head, he'll be shaken to the core at this moment. Especially since I bet his Lülülü-List didn't accomplish squat.

Give him a few days and he'll convince himself that he's undefeatable, remind himself of all those previous kerfuffles with the law and how he managed to "fight his way out of there" by shitting himself and doing nothing and you know he'll go into the court date on the 28th as brazen as 10 naked negroes. If his stubborn "I'm the man, I make the rules" routine spills over into his behaviour towards his lawyer, chances aren't half bad he'll indeed go into revision, be as uncooperative as possible with the court and piss them off even further with his blunt, arrogant manner and his refusal to take any responsibility for his own actions. Anyone can guess how that'd turn out.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the revision can even increase the punishment, if they figure out the judge wen too soft, right? Wouldn't that be the irony of the decade? Not gonna happen, but man, just thinking about it makes me smirk.

Rainer isn't really retarded enough to warrant this kind of aversion by the judge. He's not insane enough or mentally challenged enough to make that stigma work in his favour. He's just a moron with a bad temper and a short fuse, who rejects all notions of responsibility for his own situation, he's not going to weasel his way out of that by pity or a judge being unwilling to sentence him just cause he tends to tardrage like a moron.

I'm sure the court isn't giving him a special treatment. He already didn't accept any offer from court and doesn't show remorse. They'll either give him probation with a fat chain around his neck or he'll go to prison. I guess it will be no more YouTube which he won't agree to or which he'll break after few days/weeks. Sooner or later he'll fuck himself over and he'll go to prison.

It really can't be stated often enough: There is no escape for Rainer.

Either he gets sentenced to prison and it'll stick or he'll get probation (unlikely as it is) - and given the massive amounts of shit this idiot has done in the past and all the goodwill he squandered, the suspended sentence will be brutal to act as a big fucking club to intimidate Rainer into compliance.

But even in the unlikely event of him ending up with probation, the requirements he'll have to follow will fuck him over one way or the other. A key requirement will be to shut down his online presence, which he'll either ignore or not.
If he ignores them, he'll end up in jail for a nice long time. Maybe he'll even avoid streaming but end up in legal trouble some other way.
If he follows them, he'll have virtually no income without pityparty cashflow and he'll be forced to live off of Harz IV (Germany's basic unemployment benefits that only afford a very miserable standard of living, especially in southern Germany where cost of living is rather high).

Either way: no more hotdog machines for Rainer.
