How fucking hard is it to go "We were on our way someplace else and passed close by Ermskirchen, so we went to Altschauerberg to check it out just for the hell of it. When we took selfies in front of Rainer's house, he came out and we just wanted to talk to him. Shit escalated and he struck me in the head with a torch. The thing that these morons just don't understand: Unless they committed a crime (like shouting until Rainer comes out or vandalising his home), it doesn't matter whether they did something dickish or amoral like loitering in front of Rainer's house to troll him. As long as they didn't do anything illegal, it doesn't matter if their actions were shitty and they can just own that. They don't have to pretend it's a morally justifiable act and even just attempting that makes you look like a fucking loony.
Even when they actively provoke Rainer to scream his lungs out, if they manage to egg him on in a manner that isn't illegal itself (like if they're just standing there leering and laughing, maybe a few stupid comments), it doesn't matter if that makes Rainer scream like a tard. If Rainer starts screaming based on their actions, he's still the one that's committing the disturbance to his neighbors. Fuck me, if they play their cards right, they might go "well, why didn't he just go inside instead of shouting at us? We were just standing there taking photos after all!" and get away with it.
Just go "Yeah I did something shitty, but that doesn't give Rainer the justification to beat me up!". You can even fake regret and go "Going there was a stupid idea and I understand that now." or you go "I won't deny going there was a shitty thing to do... but contrary to -say- assaulting people in the street, it wasn't illegal, so there's that."

From what I've seen it doesn't look good for the Drachenlord, the only thing I can see he has going for him is if the Judge finds his haters annoying little shits, he might start to have sympathy for Rainer, but it sounds like he's just shit on every chance he's been given, and bottom line, Rainer caused all this by his actions.
He's cost the state tens of thousands because he just can't keep his mouth shut.

Rainer ist als Kläger zu einen Gerichtstermin in Nürnberg geladen.

Oofmann kam ohne Anwalt & hatte auch nicht wirklich eine erkennbare Strategie zu seiner Verteidigung. Oft hat er sich nur an Kleinigkeiten aufgehalten & nach eigener Aussage ist er nur nochmal zu Rainer gekommen, ein sachliches Gespräch führen, weil der Dregger eben dessen Handy auf dem Gewissen hatte & wohl auch im Internet die Story mit dem angeblich vorhandenen Messer verbreitet hat.
Die Story wurde aber sowohl von der Richterin auch als vom Staatsanwalt restlos zerpflückt, weil Oofmann wohl wie gewohnt mit Bier und umgeschlungenen Handtuch aufgetaucht ist, was natürlich eine ganz miese Grundlage für ein sachliches Gespräch ist.

So we get our sentencing today? Holy shit. Kinda holding out for jailtime, but you never know. Might be a mild prison sentence of roughly a year, but probation should be off the table if you ask me.
If he gets away with probation, though, he'll be emboldened, cause this won't register as him getting away once more with a very narrow escape, it'll feed into his usual spiel of "I could beat you to a bloody pulp if I feel like it, no judge in the world would hold that against me!"...
Important to keep in mind that no matter what happens, we can't lose. Either we get the satisfaction of him getting locked up or we enjoy a future where he continues to deliver tardrage rants on YT until he does end up in jail eventually.
