Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

These days definitely....hard to believe only 20-30 years ago a significant majority of people had a positive approval of Congress in general.

I used to believe that all of this woke bullshit, COVID bullshit, BLM bullshit, and all this other bullshit would end (or at least taper) when people realized that none of it was in their best interests.

Instead, I've seen society become a gigantic example of "The Frog and the Scorpion" in real time. Scorpions that will sting the frog, even if it causes both of their deaths, just because.

Remember the time, too. To the average American, the government had just managed to successfully win the Cold War without the use of nuclear weapons. Its hard to argue with results, and those were some fucking good results for them to parade about, and every layer of the government was able to stake a claim to it, since victory came through "They fucking imploded and we didn't". From the president down to the local mayor, they had a living example of mismanagement of a superpower to compare to and go "I must look pretty good right now, huh".

Believe the ONLY reason Cori Bush isn't on welfare is because she was elected to "cuckgress". Her seat is up for re-election next year. Should be plenty of stuff to use against her, most notably her spending thousands on her private security when she wants the police defunded.

On another subject, while the brain is engaged, the ONLY reason 1/6 demonstrators have been treated the way they have been done is because they publicly cucked congress. Congress overall considers themselves masters of the American people, yet they hid like a bunch of whipped bitches when the people came calling. They have lost face, for good. THAT's the ONLY crime the demonstrators are really being prosecuted for. Do you hear ANYONE in cuckgress calling for aggressive prosecution of ANY Antifa/BLM rioters, whom actually destroyed things and injured/killed people in summer 2020? Fuck, no. They haven't the balls to do so. Instead, cuckgress keeps acting like the little bitches they are against the 1/6 people. The people are paying attention, cuckgress...

What? I was explaining how Trump works in business world and how it reflects with how people view his results as President when Congress cut down something he pushed before passing it. I mean you don’t think that suddenly that strategy stopped when he took office do ya?

On the note of scraps: I’d like a massive salt generating sweep as much as the next guy, but I‘m gonna expect things to crawl at the speed of government at all times. 2022 is where people are currently expecting things to come to a head, so if you want to see Republicans rage at the lack of massive gains, you’re stuck waiting like everyone else.

That actually make since at the time of Congess and Presidency had both good approval ratings was when the Soviet Union was defeated with out Nuclear conflict. After that did people find out that government kind of sucks

People are constantly being pulled between their desire for comfort and their desire for meaning. Comfort is abundant, even among the poorest people in the 1st world. All it takes to be contented is to accept it. Meaning, not so much, and the easiest path to meaning is struggle. It's the same shit existentialists predicted centuries ago. We will seek out hardship and sabotage ourselves just to get it, in order to feel things outside of the soft prisons of modernity.
