You can defend yourself with deadly force if you unintentionally provoke the attack, and exhaust your ability to retreat. If you intentionally provoke an attack, you can't claim self defense period.
I'm looking at what you cited, namely:

"[A person who provokes an attack may regain the right to use or threaten force if the person in good faith withdraws from the fight and gives adequate notice of the withdrawal to his assailant.]"

That seems to square with that I believe, if you bitch out and make a good faith effort to GTFO, you regain self defense.

In the context of Kyle, even if he did unlawfully point his gun at someone, provoking Pedobaum's attack, he made an effort to retreat until he was unable to anymore.

He could be hosed if it could be proven that he provoked with an intent to kill, but there's no evidence of that.

Is anyone able to rip the relevant clip from this facebook vid? https://twitter.com/mdHughJass/status/1459254403790258183

Apparently shows the bit where prosecution is implying Kyle aimed at Ziminisky, where he doesn't do that

Imagine if the defense is 4D chess'ing Binger into constructing his closing around the bigfoot clip only to demolish it with a different angle, while simultaneously leaving the door open for appeal on the basis of "enhancement" shenanigans

I don't believe this to be the case at all, but imagine how cool would it be

Yes. There are standardized jury instructions with optional portions that the judge can admit if there are relevant facts in the case. That's why they wanted the drone footage so badly, even thought its a blurry pile of dog shit if they claim it's Kyle pointing his rifle at Ziminski then they convinced the judge to include the paragraph about intentional provocation.
The spirit of this provocation clause is clearly for niggers who bust into someone’s business or starts beating up someone’s wife and then claims self-defense after killing someone who started going after him. It wasn’t meant for someone (maybe) pointing a gun at someone who’s part of a violent, arsonist mob.

When the jury looks at that, they can just as easily conclude that it was pedobum being the one provoking things. It may actually work in Kyle's favor that was included if that happens.

since the alternitive video that shows kyle didn't actually point the gun already was used in the trial the defense could just show it during closing and say: "he never pointed his gun at anyone untill he had to save his life"

I see none of you caught the MATI stream today, so everyone freaking out please repeat after me:

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

Now calm down and await the verdict without mentally torturing yourselves like high school cunts with BPD.
Legitimately though it’s not a big deal. This shit happens all the time. You’ll all forget about it I. A month or so anyways.

Group posts address of prosecutor in Kyle Rittenhouse's homicide trial on extremist platform

A group on a messaging platform favored by extremists has posted the home address of the prosecutor in the Kyle Rittenhouse case.

The group, Kenosha Strong Patriots, shows 159 members and shared a post from a user that features a photo of Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger, and lists his home address.

Another person on the service comments, "This is absolutely not an encouragement to violence. Just would be nice to see a peaceful protest outside his home like the left does every time they don't like something."

Binger said Friday he is aware of the Telegram posts and has taken steps to protect himself and his family. He did not elaborate.

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department said prior to the Nov. 1 start of the trial it had been monitoring and planned to continue monitoring social media about the Rittenhouse case. So far, there has been little physical presence outside the courthouse by protesters either for or against conviction.

Sgt. David Wright said Friday he was not aware of any changes in the security measures in place during the trial, but the department is ready to "act accordingly," if credible threats emerge.

So now apparently as long as the prosecutors have video or photographs taken far enough away from someone, they can zoom in until its a blurry pile of dogshit, claim they're doing anything, and get any jury instruction they want added.

The judge and prosecution talked about it today. There's no duty to retreat in Wisconsin. They even brought up the fact that Rosenpedo had no duty to retreat if he thought his life was in danger, and the prosecution's entire argument today was that Rosenpedo was provoked by Kyle pointing his rifle at Zimenski and was acting in defense of himself and others when he charged Kyle. They claim that when he commited a crime by pointing the rifle as Zimenski, he forfeited his right to self defense for the rest of the encounter.

The problem is that the main piece of evidence supporting that argument is super blurry drone view that has been digitally enhance to the point that it's considerably worse than the Bigfoot photo. The absolute most problematic piece of evidence in the entire trial is what would be the justification for guilty verdicts on all the murder counts.

The defense won their argument on jury instruction for the minor in possession of a deadly weapon charge so the jury is probably 90%+ likely not going to convict on that one.
Wait they won on the possession argument? I must have missed that.

If you think bullets are what this kid's fate hangs on, I think you're missing the forest for the trees.

No one cares what type of bullet he used. There are mothers on that jury and they see what I see, a boy not yet a man with childhood notions of right and wrong still intact trapped amongst criminals from the lowest segment of society, hunted like prey as wolves circle for the kill. I wouldn't put him in prison even if I was still a liberal, it would simply destroy him.

Apologies if this has been said, this thread is moving super fast.

Let's all think about what would happen if he had hollow points in that gun. I know next to nothing about ammo, and this trial has taught me that full metal jacket is more likely to go through a person.

I bet that if it were hollow point in that gun, douchey Binger would be saying that Kyle was going for more kills and damage to anyone shot.

In the end, it doesn't matter what specific bullets were used, because Binger would say it was the worst choice anyways.

Also. Count me amongst those that had no idea how long the entire incident was. I expected that the whole thing was like 5 times longer than it was.

"Crossed state lines"?

Show me you know NOTHING about the case without telling me you know nothing about the case..

You're a blithering idiot.
He lives in Illinois and ended up in Wisconsin to play cop. Ergo, he crossed state lines.
Of course said user is shitting up threads again.
Why oh fucking why does this shit get a pass here?
Because disagreeing with you isn't a bannable offense. You want a circle jerk, go to patriots.win
Rittenhouse literally is the Young American Kid image.
He's tubby and pasty, so you do have a point there.
