Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

It's funny to think that 12 months ago, people all over America and all over the internet were super stoked that Trump had lost. That orinj hitler was getting cast aside. That they all gleefully declared "I don't care how bad Biden is, anyone but Trump"

But now they can't call Trump Hitler
Or blame him for mean tweets
or blame him for anything.

Nope. Everything that has happened over the last 12 months is their fault. They have blood on their hands and to be quite frank, I hope they suffer the most from their decision, as it wasn't a choice of voting for party or policy, but being children and voting on feels because they didn't like the big meanie who was forcing them to have responsibility.

It’s technically not really their fault, Trump won but that sh*t was fckin fixed regardless of their legal votes for Joe n the Ho

Maybe late, but could someone explain how "Al Gore won"?

Florida had issues with the vote count, causing it to be too close to call but Fox News called the state for George W Bush early on and the other networks followed their lead afterwards.

To find out who won Florida (and as a result, the Presidency) a recount was required and was pushed HARD by the Democrats who were contesting the votes and claiming the voting ballots/machines were broken and malfunctioning (the infamous hanging chad thing) required such a detailed recount.

But the Clintons had pissed off a lot of local Florida rank and file Democrats over their handling of the Elian Gonzales debacle, combined with Florida having a huge Cuban population who already hate and distrust the Demcorats (who DESPISE Cubans for being "race traitors" because they support the GOP not the Democrats like most hispanics/latinos do) and the fact that Florida was under the governorship of George W Bush's brother Jeb, who in turn put Bush family loyalists in charge of running the 2000 election in Florida.

This meant that attempts to do a recount were blocked hard by the Florida establishment and the Democrats eventually had to go to the Supreme Court to force Florida to do a full recount, especially since the preliminary tally for the votes once voting ended, was leaning towards George W Bush.

Unfortunately for them, on a party line vote, the Conservative win of the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Bush and ordered all recounting stopped. Bush II was basically made President and the Supreme Court had to include a cavet saying "this decision should NEVER be applied to another case similar to it!" to basically try and cover their asses due to certain SCJ (O'Connor) basically knowing that they were stealing the election for Bush and were effectively trying to do damage control.

This in turn is why people claim that Gore won the 2000 election and it was stolen from them by the GOP and Supreme Court.

And a sexual harassment scandal would NEVER be something the DNC would use, on a sitting US President of their own party, because of the shit they went through protecting Clinton. They only used one on Cuomo because Cuomo was a liability and had ambitions that made him a threat to the Biden/Obama clique, combined with the fact that they had him dead to rights on it and defending it after Cuomo killed all of the elderly folks would have been suicide given how NY is at risk for flipping red.
NY is at risk of flipping red? What?

If Gabbard wasn't known as "surf mommy with the milkers" she'd be nowhere atm. Her policies are actually terrible and everyone on the right that likes her just wants to fuck her.

WHICH IS FINE.

I just wish people would stop pretending she's a good candidate.
she's *by far* the best of the bunch as a candidate for what the president is actually supposed to be. she would be absolutely, no contest the best at

* being the commander in chief of the armed forces
* performing the ceremonial functions of the head of state - this seems trivial but it really, really isn't. Gabbard is again *by far* the candidate with the most dignity and gravitas and that's *with* everyone wanting to have sex with her. as she ages she will become even more presidential.
* engaging in diplomacy - she might be tied with Trump on this one
* acting as a visible symbol and actual reality of checks and balances as a sitting Dem president with veto power during a presidency when the GOP holds the Senate and House, which would certainly be the situation during a Gabbard presidency

the president isn't supposed to decide health care policy or gay marriage policy or any of this shit, all of that is supposed to be getting done by Congress and/or on a state level.

I am curious how the Supreme Court will rule on Dobbs v. Jackson in a few days. A pro-life ruling (not necessarily striking down Roe) would probably take Biden's open conflict against the Supreme Court to a whole new level.

Ever since the backlash against his ruling in the Citizens United case, Roberts has become a complete and total coward and will NEVER allow abortion to be made illegal out of his selfish obsession towards how he goes down in history. And the rest of the conservative wing of the court is unreliable too given that Roberts still holds influence and sway over them.

There is also the fact that banning abortion or going to a schizophrenic state where the legality of abortion is up to the state and that states can legalize/criminalize abortion at will depending on the party in power, can fucking HURT the GOP big time.

Overturning Roe Vs Wade and/or making abortion's legality up to the whims of whatever party controls each of the 50 states, would give the Democrats a MASSIVE fucking shot in the arm and rejuvenate them big time for 2022. Which would give the Democrats a chance to keep control of the Senate and states with governorships up for election.

Abortion is not as popular as you seem to think it is. Leaving it up to the states would not do anything major to help the dems on a national stage. Almost every poll done has 75% of the population wanting abortions to be severely restricted but legal.

Part of the problem was that they wanted to use subjective standards to ascertain "voter intent," especially when it came to those weird hole-punch "butterfly" ballots (which were set up by a local Democrat, so it wasn't Republican "voter suppression").

I don't think any of the recounts ever put Gore in the lead, so in all likelihood Bush did actually win.

did you forget how the electoral college works? your picture here only makes sense if we have a nationwide popular vote on anything, which will never happen.

this is a myopic American view of the situation anyway. The EU is much, much more centralized and top-down than the US. And yet, the EU's member states have radically different abortion laws (which are mostly much, much more restrictive than abortion law in the US). Right now Brussels is all "let's have more baby killing pls" to the ones who are less into baby killing but it's still a hodgepodge and no one really cares.

As someone who was vaguely aware of such matters at the time, wasn't there no end to Democrat fuckery in polling places and recount centers? It wasn't 2020 level fuckery by far, but they were definitely not abiding by the law for such matters.

I’ve talk to many liberals from my town and they are all shocked that Biden sucks ass.

Why are they shocked? I knew Biden was going to suck ass during Obama’s time as president.
They're all low-information voters. Too insulated in their mass media bubbles to know how much of a sham Biden was long before he became president, so if their shock is genuine, it's their cognitive dissonance response. Elections have consequences, and this is the consequence for them voting for Biden for the mere reason of "he's not Trump and Orange Man bad."

President signs bills into law, retard. Their stance on political issues matter.

I blame the Onion and their Joe "Bluesteel" Biden stories with him driving a Transam and acting cool. He's never had this kind of spotlight before - even as VP - and I'm not surprised he's very much being found disappointing when compared to the myth.

It wasn't remotely as you're characterising. Florida was called for Gore early in the evening, by NBC and CNN, before polls had closed in the panhandle. The democrats pushed a recount because they saw an opportunity to steal the election, which is why bags of ballots kept turning up in car boots and closed polling places for weeks after the election had concluded. They brought the case all the way to the USC to try and get their totally legitimate and definitely not faked ballots included in the count. The recount was stopped when the Democrat claims of newly found ballots became untenable, after evidence of mass tampering and fakery came to the fore. Hanging chads became a meme and Diebold was pretty much destroyed as a going concern in the aftermath.

I watched all of this happen in real time.

Today (in VA) on my drive I saw a black teenager with a "FUCK JOE BIDEN" sign standing on the edge of the overpass holding the sign over it.

Either he's getting paid a lot of money to spend his Sunday doing that, or people are really mad
We’re heading towards civil strife between overwhelmingly white “progressives” and a multicultural “white supremacy”

Peak clownworld

I don't expect there to be a *huge* amount of black voters shifting to voting R, but I'm certain that vaccine mandates have demoralized and disenchanted many blacks to the point where black turnout will be at an all time low in 2022. They'd have to juice up the ballot harvesting to compensate, and therefore in states where election integrity/anti-voter-fraud can be enforced in any meaningful way, you will see a pretty big impact in the net total from black areas. For instance, if a given state normally has 900,000 Dem voting blacks and 100,000 Repub voting blacks (D+800,000), I can see an outcome where it becomes 600,000 Dem voting blacks and 150,000 Repub voting blacks (D+450,000...mainly from blacks staying home with some impact from vote switching). That 800k to 450k shift (350k) would make a very strong impact on the statewide results.

Obviously I'm just guesstimating in a total hypothetical, but that's the potential *type* of impact you'll see - Dems getting screwed because some black voters switch to R while MANY stay home.
