Another thing I thought was very ironic during Phil's charity rant was how he brought up Mother Teresa as an example of how to do charity, how she dedicated her life to it, didn't benefit from it etc.
Maybe the single most famous Catholic in modern history. A household name. Someone who associated with dictators just in order to raise funds. Someone who won numerous Peace Prizes. The subject of numerous books and films. Someone who is a literal fucking sainted individual by the Catholic church.

Somewhere buried in this sub forum is info about Phil's mom helping the local special olympics. So I could see a young Phil getting dragged along to the occasional charity event as a child until he was old enough to say no and be left home alone. Yes that isn't "doing charity work" but semantics are Phil's favorite type of lie. Either that or he's just counting the Twitch charities where they matched bit donations where he lost nothing in the exchange which is less semantics and more straight bullshit.
His recent shameless begging has been even more desperate than I remember. It warms my heart to see the clear sign that his gatcha gambling addiction has got so bad he can now only see the next 12 hours. He been getting $200 superchats this week (3 from memory) and after his very quick thank you that helps long term he is straight into begging for tips. Some people get mad about Phil, I don't; I just enjoy watching his life spiral ever further out of control.
