Lucas has said there aren't any Gen Z baes he's interested in at Mallon Place, and I assume there aren't many visitors to where he thinks the greybeards around him have harems of young women.

He's said before that this is transitional housing for an eventual apartment that they'll work with him to get (lol no), so he's not planning on staying there for long.

Thus, my guess is that once spring hits, he'll try leaving or eventually raise a ruckus demanding sex from someone to get kicked out.

For Lucas, Mallon Place isn't a money grab either. It's a great deal for his ~$1000 tugboat. It's that a still functional guy like Lucas should never be there to begin with.

He could also probably get kicked out if he flat out refuses to take meds.

They take the fat retard's gibs so he can't waste it at Clinkerniggers and then make him eat vegetables and don't even let him have any mayo to drown them in. This is the closest to his idea of hell Lucas is going to get until he actually dies and it's just low-wage workers making sure he takes his meds and eats somewhat decently. My only complaint is that they need to make him wash and brush what's left of his hair.

If something is seen as a dangerous activity (shaving, nail cutting and hair cuts ) then once a week or month depending on Many factors a poor underpaid nurse will be sent out to do these tasks.

With Lucas charcot and unknown number of diabetic lesions his allotted hygiene time is almost certainly spent on wounds and making sure he doesn't reek.
Then the nurse must leave for the Vietnam vet next door who still has a rash that comes and goes. Sores from bits of the frag he caught in 70 and are working their way out.
But she's got 12 minutes to complete this task before she has to go to the crayon magic mucher who bit his finger off because he got chocolate on it.

I almost completely agree with you, however I think a lot of us on here (myself included) let the fact that Lucas is a horrible human being distract us from the fact that he IS in fact horribly mentally ill. Unfortunately, this kind of care is what he needs, even though he may not deserve it as much as the vet next door. In healthcare terms, he’s a living human who isn’t in prison, and he is absolutely sick enough to warrant this type of care.
