We Need To Talk About Cats.

I will now address those among the kiwi forums users who dont Like cats or think catposting is No Good and no fun at all and who maybe even harbor hostile feelings:

Soon you will become a host. you won't be able to avoid it for much longer. One day a wandering ameeba will find your nostril and maybe while you are sleeping it will float up and into your very skull. there, it will begin to perform its dark deed. you might wake up and feel like something is different, but you can't quite place it. your brain has just become a plaything for beings of an unfathomable nature. Only then you will understand. There will develop an irresistable urge to share your life with cats. And you will do it.

I forgot to provide context before. I have a mom and son duo. Got them from a high kill shelter. He was the only kitten from her litter who survived so I couldn’t separate them.

I will post pictures of my cat pride when I come back, of those present and gone. Lost my Smokey last year, still upset and missing him He was the only one who cuddled with me, the others are too independent for that.

My special boy is my three legged Siamese tabby with grey eyes though, just because he's so spirited and absolutely unaware missing his foot is considered a disability.

I have a fat tom cat that decided that my house is his house. I feed him once a day and then he goes and begs five of my neighbors for food. If I don't give him food he follows me when I take my doggo for a walk. He fights all the wildlife in the neighborhood. I have seen him in standoffs with stags and does.

There is a fox in the neighborhood and he will eat the food I leave for her, except the dog food. I am allergic to him but every couple of days I have to chase him down so I can kill the ticks he's acquired. I have tried to placate him by giving him a box and a few catnip toys. He has shunned the toys and now my dog is a drug addict.
