As others have said, No Man's Sky was only "bad" for a bit. The devs have put in a fuckton of work in fixing that game and have both realized and expanded upon the original vision for it. Tbh I have never seen a game dev put as much work into improving a game after a bad release and do it for free, I love Hello Games now.

All this press conference shows is that the US is clearly in its final season. we got 8 years left at most. the last 80 years have been a slow sucking but again the 20s is the final season, this decade will be an entire field in history. every year will be as action packed as an entire decade was before, in 2004 an entire 20 minutes spent covering the events of the past week was seen as absurd, now its barely scratching the surface, an entire hour will be needed. We're only in January and shit looks grim. 2021 was worse than 2020, but felt better if only because the culture made it feel as such, way fewer celebrity deaths,riots and sports not being postponed helped too. this year the supply chain arc, the war arc, and midterm arc will all be happening as well as covid still being in the ending stages. And again thats just from what we can tell from fucking January. All signs point to the FED just allowing 18% (real) inflation to be the norm, which considering no one getting more than a 5% raise for COL, is very bad. And beyond all that the best hope for people on the left and right are two people over 75 years old. Which is the sort of shitty plot contrivance people would bitch about if it was an anime or tv show. Its a literal race aganist time for the entire planet on almost every issue now.
Biden might be brain dead but he at least has enough sense to realize the poll smokers can't get anyone to work past 6.
