Basically, money from an anime streaming service supposedly going to fund anime was used to fund a Tumblr tier self insert vanity project.
The show turned out shit, and the creator is sperging on Twitter about how the reason it's so awful (including the scripts) is because it was low budget.

I mean, I could understand the idea of the show getting hampered by budget constraints when it comes to animation or scriptwriting (heck, reminds me of a joke from a Flinstones episode), but honestly even if they did have the budget for better animation and make it seem less cheap or better scriptwriters. I, really don't think the show would have fired out anyway, like if we toss aside the whole retarded "OMG DEM WOKIES AN THEIR AGENDASS!!" retardation, High Guardian Spice is a VERY boring show, like that it's the biggest sin the show is just boring and is pretty much a huge amount of nothing.
I admit I didn't watch the whole pilot, but from what I saw I suspect they could've saved some money if they didn't make the pilot into a filler episode.
