After the new outfit reveal and her talking about black "mermaids purses" and playing with them on the beach I did some googling and it seemed to be a North Carolina thing from news articles.

As someone who likes following the vtuber Apex scene, Towa is the real star from Hololive for me in that community, along with Matsuri. Aqua is probably a better individual player, but she doesn't do tournaments.

Just a bunch of social FPS peeps, one day we will see the true merge of Selen/Qu/Ban and Holo idols. Maybe Mondo/Selly/others will force some bridges. While nothing much, people saw that one their first talents is Kirschtorte. If you people don't know or remember him, he was one of the "lucky" smaller Vtubers that Kuzuha picked to play Apex with when he went on Twitter and asked for people to play with. And he blew up BY A LOT since playing with Kuzuha on a consistent basis during that 2(?) month period

Now people are spreading rrats that this was all a ruse by Nijisanji and Iwanaga to essentially advertise Iwanaga's company and their talents given how lucky he was to be able to play with a popular Vtuber and how big Kirschtorte got after playing with Kuzuha.

Wow, we survived to another milestone btw. Sure, but in order to become 'established' they needed the opportunity to actually interact in the first place. Chemistry is a very real power in the entertainment industry, and those two just-so-happened to be afforded it, but that doesn't mean other members wouldn't try to build it if they felt like the 'rules' and vocal fanbase weren't pushing back.

Having stilted, nervy, careful interactions only makes for good collabs if those types of collabs are all you're accustomed to. There is a lot of demand to see Holostars magically start succeeding but not much desire for the things that hamper them to change.

Why would Hololive do this? I would guess it gives them leverage and legitimacy. They can talk to Youtube like a multimillion dollar entity instead of 40+ x thousand dollar creators. TBH I have no idea what they gain otherwise since the general idea is that MCNs do exactly what Hololive productions does - provide support and management.

Winning son did all of Animare so this is expected. Gotta say, if you want the most context into this game Beatanis playthrough is fascinating, you gotta be able to handle her ADHD. She explains the dry Japanese humor pretty well.
