Speaking of things that were passed by Netflix. Who here is familiar with this nsfw adult cartoon? It was pitched around to various places for a second season(they later kickstarted it, and made fun of Netflix in the second season).

I might be getting my frogs mixed up but IIRC one of the dudes who made the Trucker's Delight music video went on to work on this and the other went on to the lastman animated series (where the trucker gets a cameo)

Not one of the strongest batch of shorts I’ve seen for cartoons. Hopefully the better ones end up getting green lit.

This is especially true now since the industry is still recovering from 2020 so they need to play it safe until they get sure hits. It’s why their falling back so hard on established IPs.

Granted, this is a problem that’s been around the industry for a while.

They remind me of the weird kids that were in the art club or theater at my high school. They would be the creeps that would snuggle and hug each other every five minutes.

Very unexpected but I'm very glad that it happened. I had a dream recently where they came out with a new episode (and multiple tie-in NES games) and I was pissed off when I woke up because I knew that they probably wouldn't make any more.

Good god. Why do most of the people look like they belong in youtube(and we're talking early youtube like Fred and the Numa Numa guy) but ended up rejected and got into animation instead? Let alone that most of them could write themselves in a show they'd work on and nobody would bat an eye.

Christ. There are ways of putting yourself into your work, but making a main character of yourself? You really need to get a fucking life. Its kind of a bit surprising that Gary didn't get questioned for his behavior since he wrote one episode of the reboot that had Blossom twerking. I can't help but imagine both Craig and Lauren want him dead for that.
