Never under estimate the sock power of his main dent head. Don't be surprised when get goes live next stream and says "Well guys on my day off we had a big wave of support and WE hit the membership goal" I wouldn't put it past Phil to live tweet his membership numbers today in between all the mature adult things he has to do on his only day off.

That's a great marketing move. For the price of a controller he got all eyes from gaming news on his stream, while also advertising that it's unpredictable and he's liable to blow up and rage.
This is the sort of thing Phil should be leaning into. Be the embodiment of the salty stubborn gamer and have people tip him to tell him he sucks. Nobody wants a fun chill pahsitive stream where he sings what he sees while Derich drops PokeTrivia. If he was known as the tahxic soulsborne streamer he'd get a lot more views and recognition, especially if he did PvP.

Phil will and can never admit he sucks fucking dick at video games; his ego will never let him. I think it’s the one hard stance it takes against his greed, and it’s definitely one of the main reasons why he’s been stagnant for so long. A return to Old Phil (no guides/handholding, no cowering from games, controller slams, calling gamedevs faggots) would be both entertaining and profitable. He’d get kicked from YouTube (eventually, maybe) but if word of mouth spread someone else wanting to be able to do the same thing might contact him to collaborate or maybe even form a platform together. It isn’t impossible; lots of people are sick of false personas and safe spaces. If Phil allowed himself to be pissed off the way he wants to be he’d find support where he has none now.

Phil claims that Elden Ring probably has more input lag, like KOFXV, because KOFXV on PS5 has the most input lag. Something about UE4 on the PS5 does create more input lag, he's not wrong, but using KOFXV as a baseline the difference between PS4 and PS5 is around 2 frames, or 20ms. This is something that really good fighting game players absolutely can notice, and will throw them off, but it's not something that you can't get used to either.
Whenever Phil fucks up and blames input lag, he's usually doing something seconds late. So let me ask you, which one do you think is more likely?
A) DSP, despite being 40 years old not looking a day over 60, has such good reflexes and inputs that he can notice 20ms difference.
B) DSP is full of shit and his gin-brain can't dodge

Just one of the many reasons we know he really is an idiot, and not putting on an act. What's funny is that he's such an insecure baby that he also wants everyone to think he's down for entertaining people with some salt, even advertises it at times, but the only way he can handle that is by avoiding the REAL tantrums. Like what Sifu got out of him. It's cool for people to laugh at him in the same way that it's cool for them to criticize him, meaning, not actually, because when it's legit, his childish brain has a fit.

He also clearly read/watched a guide while he was on break as he was not surprised by any of Margit's attacks...especially when he breaks out the hammer. I would think most people would be taken aback by the hammer except phil just stared blankly and made a hammer time joke in the most monotone tone of voice i ahve ever heard,

I think DSP can't see the fucking TV, and he makes the glasses the lowest goal so he can get paid to actually try in the game he's playing. Period.

I know nobody believes Phil when he's talking about lag and blocking... but when he talks about what and what would not work offline, its even more egregious. This dude is 7 years removed from his last offline match, not to mention nobody even knows if he's played an offline match in KoF. It's doubtful since it took the 15th version to realize combo's are everything and he's shocked high level play utilizes that. Plus this dude has had his inputs exposed and has shown he never learns from his mistakes.. I posted a video on how he STILL heals right in front of enemies. So whatever he says about input lag is fucking up his boss fights is bullshit. He can't see, read telegraphed moves, and uses the "a broken clock is wrong twice a day* method of defeating hard enemies unless there is a cheat or chat handholding.

If you are pissed at DSP's gameplay of the game, don't be. It's not even worth watching unless he's raging.

Its pretty funny how he was just trying to flex on pc players for their version sucking but now all of a sudden the version he's playing doesn't work right either.

Also what was the last game phil had zero issues with? Either every single game thats been released the last 5 plus years has been a broken piece of shit that doesn't work right.. or phil just sucks at video games. At some point you would think phil would get it but no, its just the games that suck.

Of course it isn't input lag, but I think it's hilarious that his excuse for being a pisspoor gamer is that the console he's championed - for like, a year? - is actually shit and fucks up every game and it's the PS5 that's making him lose. He can't even keep his internal consistency straight enough to remember that the PS5, KOF, *and* ER were his long-term bets for "saving the channel".

This is probably one of the dumbest things he does (top 5 at least). You can get great glasses with an anti-glare coating AND a blue light eliminating coating on top of that for <400 USD.

Instead he chooses to put unnecessary strain on his eyes, squinting at his TV screen like an elderly person with late stage cataracts.

Keep in mind that Phil's legit experiences in competitions instilled absolutely NO sense of awareness in him whatsoever. We know he played real players at MvC2 a long time ago, well he clearly didn't learn how to be good at that despite doing so. His brain is permanently wired to observe anything that's not to his liking and call it "bullshit". The world doesn't dictate things to him, he insists on dictating things to the world.

He could've played KoF back in the day and still formed a stupid opinion of it now.

He can't even keep his internal consistency straight enough to remember that the PS5, KOF, *and* ER were his long-term bets for "saving the channel".

That always makes me laugh, because Phil lives day-to-day, and so nothing can ever "save" anything except him changing his retarded lifestyle. His streaming career doesn't need a game that rakes the tips in for him, because that's as short-sighted as it gets. It needs him considering his distant future for once. Not even harping on subs counts, because that's entirely to let him whale out hard without as much concern for paying the mortgage on time.

I'll never understand why he does this. We're long past the point where anyone would care about calling him "four eyes", and being able to see would improve his gameplay, reducing the jokes about that.

Everything is so funny in hindsight. Another hyped game, calling the week before Elden Week, already down the shitter for him.

Hopped on the bandwagon for hype and payout, spends it all on WWE Champions, and now he's pissing on the game. Despite playing all of them in the series with the knock-offs, he's now going to shit on the whole foundation of queued inputs and difficulty.

Meanwhile Doc has his own hype for the game and gaining more traction than him despite the series not being part of his shtick.
