Feb 28, 2022 - Chris transferred to another facility

When I've visited people who have been on holds in mental facilities, it's pretty bad. While the people I was taking responsibility for were relatively sane, the screams in the background were kind of haunting. Mental illness is a horrible thing.
Yeah, I could easily imagine that someone with only a minor psychiatric disorder might well end up much worse by the proximity of screaming lunatics.

I wonder if Barb knows? It's well known how much Borb's nightmare scenario was to put Chris into a state hospital, which they mistook for a special needs school. Now that it's reality, Barb would be going "shit, I spent my old adult life trying to mainstream Chris away from this. Why did I let him penetrate 'heal' me?!"

Chances are, Chris will tell them what's he told everyone about how he's famous and about the merge... yep, Chris is going to have an interesting time for the next six months.

If she does know I doubt she cares much beyond the relief she feels that Chris is safely locked away far from her and she is no longer reliant on him. She's probably trying to focus on living out her last days as comfortably and with as little stress as possible.

The guards at the jail most likely are just sick of photocopying his bullshit and the constant letters flowing in. Not to mention a bored chris is probably the most annoying form of chris, and having him transferred to a mental health oriented setting means they can just drug the lunatic into silence "for his own good".

Honestly they should take away the bible, the escapes into fantasy land are preventing chris from focusing on what matters, either his case or reflecting on what he has done.

Chris must have said or done something to merit getting transferred to a looney bin. Sure everyone in the court may be old and out of touch, and have almost no idea what the hell sonichu or hyperdimension neptunia is, but constantly sperging on about being a Jesus CPU comedore goddess just doesn't seem like it'd be enough to get him committed.

Even though all we have to go on is the bail hearing where he screeched at the judge "I'm famous on da internet!" And refused to answer even the simplest of questions coherently, it just doesn't seem like that would be enough to get them to declare him "incompetent to stand trial."

Except neither of those matter to him, this case is nothing but a burden that's keeping him from the"important" stuff. Except for Chris "important stuff," includes conventions; watching TV, and protesting MLP gen 5. As for what he's done? As far as he's concerned he's done nothing wrong, and this whole case is just another round of people who hate him playing kick the autistic.

With meds, can Chris refuse? I thought the only way to force someone in jail/ prison/ hospital to take meds is if they are a threat to themselves or others.

If Chris was transferred because it was standard for cases like Him, don't know if they can make Him take meds.

If he was sent to the hospital due to incompetency to assist in his own defense, it was due to an evaluation by a forensic psychologist, not a judge, although they would be involved in requesting that evaluation. The evaluation would detail specific reasons with examples of the defendant’s inability to understand their situation as it relates to their defense, so it’s not just a matter or reaching an annoying enough sperg level

But Chris has never been seen or recorded doing anything strange, how would they find such evidence? ;)

So, do we know if he HAS been sent to a psych lock-up? Maybe that's what happened, but I think it's just as likely/more likely, that they just finally bounced him into the prison system, because of the 6 month continuance.

Jails aren't intended to house people long-term; That's what prisons are for. Jails are SUPPOSED to house you for a few weeks/months, til they can get you into court for sentencing, then off to prison. That said, the system is a mess, and it's not uncommon for people to be held in jail for a year or more. But in general, they'll find a reason to send you into prison if they can, to free up the jail cell- And getting notification of a long continuance is exactly the kind of excuse they'll typically use to do that.

Then again, with Chris it hardly even seems to matter- Most people would be bouncing off the walls in protected custody, never speaking to anyone else, and barely any time out of their cell. But Chris seems fine with sitting by himself, having imaginary cartoon adventures in CWCville. So even if he did get sent to psych lock-up (which would be worst-case scenario, for a normal inmate), I doubt that Chris would even care (except maybe being offended by the implication that his hedgehog-CPU-princess status isn't super-duper-real, and requires psych treatment)

Is it possible that Chris got so deep in his fantasy that he was hurting himself? Ie he was possessed by Sonichu and was punching the walls trying to break into Cwcvill?

If you listen to pointless sperg and others, Chris would show as being in the prison system.

I'm of the opinion that Chris simply got moved earlier in the month as that simply works too well to explain the sudden radio silence, as Chris has always loved babbling on about his delusions to anybody who will listen. The information in the penal system website simply wasn't updated quickly because of any number of administrative reasons, the fact being the only thing people care about regarding Chris's whereabouts right now is outside of a contained environment.

However, much as Chris didn't seem to mind jail all that much (he still wanted out of course), he may actually like psychiatric care since I would expect it's even more rigid and leaves less for the "patients" to actually have to decide. Chris will be chafing at the bit to do what he wants but being prevented from pop culture consumption for months on end is probably the first TRUE punishment he's ever been subjected to, something that actually has a chance of taking hold in his brain that the autism card can't get him out of.

Oh we passed that threshold years ago when Chris decided to try DIY vaginoplasty. Twice.

To get to the psych ward, you generally need to be either a danger to yourself or others or so batshit crazy you are incapable of even basic functioning. Everyone there is fairly crazy, or got crazy enough to need to go to the psych ward to be stabilized.
