The one he tried to frame me for. I tried to talk to him like man about it, but he decided to be a coward and stop replying to messages the second I confronted him (nicely, no less) about this. Nothing I can do about that.

That said, where Dean isn't the good honest person I thought he was, and both D and V have acted like idiots throughout this whole lawsuit, I'm NOT going to cheer on Preston or think his lawsuit is anything other than complete and utter garbage. Get that through your thick skull. It's called not letting emotions about people cloud your judgement as to what's really going on concerning an issue that's supposed to be about facts, logic, and law.

I don't get why there are people that cling to alliances so tightly (over super-autistic Comicsgate, no less), that they can't step back, look at this whole situation and be like "Yeah, ya know what? Nearly everybody involved in this lawsuit has acted retarded in one way or another."

She already did default. That's what's noted by the Clerk. That's just a clerical note that a deadline has passed with a required filing not having been filed. Now we're waiting on the results of a motion for default judgment by the court itself, which effectively terminates the case in favor of Poulter, barring a set-aside from the default.

This applies whether or not she was served, although it would be properly set aside in that event or if she files an opposition to the motion for default judgment which she should probably do through counsel and not by consulting a Ouija board or worse, what she's been doing up until now.

ETA: It appears Lamont has filed his motion for default judgment, but Poulter has not yet. Entry of default was November 29, 2021.

At this point it would be better to call all of them idiots expect for Ethan in this case.

To be fair, Spectre absolutely cares about Dean. Or did. Dean was another try at e-fame. Spectre talked so much shit, and involved himself in ways he really shouldn't have, that I can't really blame Preston for dabbing on him a little bit. Wouldn't you?

To recap:

1. October 6th: Spectre lets it be known he wrote/co-wrote Dean's motion for dismissal. He's been trying really hard to backtrack from that claim ever since, but his posts here are what they are.
2. January 11th: Spectre claims that he would give better legal advice than Preston's "shit-ass attorneys." At this point, he probably thought his motion would convince the judge to let Dean off.
3. January 18th: Seven days later, Magistrate Judge Horne reads the motion Spectre was involved in writing, and then recommends that Preston's case against Dean proceed.
4. Spectre slams the EMERGENCY STOP button and seems completely disinclined to fight with Preston on Twitter from then on. He now seems to spend most of his days skulking in Rekieta's Discord, trying to convince the people making fun of him there that he didn't actually write what he wrote on Kiwifarms.

I don't think Spectre now ignoring Preston is coincidental, and apparently neither does Preston. Preston's "shit-ass attorneys," regardless of how shit-ass they may or may not be, made a more convincing argument in the eyes of the judge than Spectre. Had Dean's motion been granted, the roles would be reversed, and Spectre would be dabbing on Preston, and making sure everybody knows that he had a hand in defeating Preston.

You can hate Preston all you want and think this case is garbage (I certainly agree), but this was W for Preston and an L for Spectre. Tragically, it ended up being a L for Dean too.

He probably thought Demonatrix was going to be a sick burn against CG, with it's idiotic "approved by CG seal." He wanted to smear CG as a collection of degenerates because they wouldn't let him in the club house. It backfired when people saw that cover art AND realized that Lamont unironically loves the lolicon.

With FROG out of the case, one of the reasons why this is whole thing is funny is because Preston is actually doing CG a favor in continuing against D&V. Imagine trying to ruin two of FROG's most vocal critics (even if they're not really that big) when your primary target with that comic was FROG and CG.
