there's a mod to give him his old orange/black colors. you can sorta get original Robert back.

this didn't apply to KOF till recently. basically north americans didn't give a shit to KOF till SFV flopped and fags like Max Dood dragged people into the game. terry in smash brought lot of players too.

there wasn't a good KOF to mod before KOFXV so they found a new game to rape

It was bound to happen to KOF just like it happened to Guilty Gear, except they didn't completely gut the whole game's identity.

Trannies and content hustling grifters put it on the map in America alongside rollback, so everyone is spewing the same talking points (KOF is hard, 13 best game, can I beat these trials?, I want to fuck everyone in the cast).

Its really tiring, but I dont think latinos who been playing the bootleg 02 off a stolen laptop will take a lot of the gringo shit like this punk post

Seen the news for the upcoming DLC, 4 new teams, seen a leak saying the last two will be orochi version of CYS and samurai shodown characters which will be crap if it's true.would prefer the old Korea team to samurai shodown.

I also seen theres a single dlc character. Hoping its rugal but it'll probably be one of the end bosses, is there a way to play them without modding the game? Does completing the mission modes unlock anything?

leak is correct. this was leaked when they released first open beta for console.

you can unlock music. that's it.

Instead we get a recolor of an existing team and one totally out of place in the timeframe.

Wolfgang Krauser, Lawrence Blood and mr Big brought in as foil to the south town DLC would be good since they all don't like each other.

Bring Chin, Kim and Takuma in as the masters team or something. Just hope theres more DLC than the ones already planned, the game is woefully short

Oh shit, Gato is DLC? I loved Gato in XI and Garou. This might tempt me to get the game but the lack of crossplay really sucks.

If/when Kim gets in, I hope they omit Chang and Choi. I've always hated those characters. They're just obnoxious gimmick characters. Have a team with Kim and his sons and setup a Garou 2 tease.

to be fair Jae and Dong are like yin and yang of Kim. if Kim is absent in a game (like garou) they can fit in, but having Kim with both sons could be too much. Jae is very much Kim with fire effects on his moves. not sure about Dong though because he's original with his moves.

speaking of DLC teams, billy is still fucking lame. it will sell because it has geese and yamazaki, but 3rd guy could be that blonde boss guy from garou. think he was called Kain

In xiv Gang-li was a combination of jae and dong. It cool from a gameplay standpoint, but not sure how many people were fond of playing as a Hispanic uncle looking manlet.

From a lore perspective Gang-li did go off on Kim about Chang and Choi's fail reformation after years and calls Kim's teaching into question (as well the years many characters question Kim's insane dedication to justice in win quotes and endings)

It more than likely ended up with Kim going back with his master to relearn but this is just wild speculation from my part since SNK likes its lore.

Kim could team up with jhun hoon and may lee jinju again, that would bring some more obscure NESTs saga characters back,

Would be cool if he teamed up with Raiden/big bear again. King of dinosaurs only has one story mode interaction and raiden would probably be ideal given hes a wrestler too

Teaming him with Hwa Jai would be cool and fit his theme of trying to rehabilitate criminals.

what can I say, snk was aiming exactly for this since 2019. an e-sports game that will attract North Americans. there's nothing to comment about the game because bosses just flopped hard. probably the worst written plot since kof2001, yet another joke endings for Fatal Fury team and Art Of Fighting team and of course, teaser characters in endings that will probably be DLCs.

I give it till after Evo to where NA goes back to not caring about KOF outside of jacking it to futa Angel hentai. Gotta listen to the influencers on what to play next you know.

My local already slowly dropping it to going back to being Strive/Tekken jobbers.

Its still a good time and I dont mind it dying till I only start matching with some 40 yr old from Morroco
