That 79% looks so funny up there on the search page. I know it had the refund shenanigans, but this is pretty eye catching.
Manga in CG? Liam did his best to ruin it. He ruins everything he gets involved in, including the bigfoot community.
For Manga to be successful in CG I think it's probably best to just market your art as inspired by, rather than attempting to be a wholesale attempt at a Manga. Keung Lee did that, but his bonafides are in line with it. For an Orange idiot from Australia to screech about manga, that's completely different. Battle Maiden Knuckle Bomb was about as authentic an attempt at doing manga as you're likely to get from someone not living in Japan. It was designed and printed that way (and correctly at that) to purposefully feel like a Manga.
If you grew up watching Toonami that would probably just make you look like an idiot, or like Liam who also is an idiot.
If I recall, wasn't there a Cyberfrog "Manga" coming up? Lily's point of view or something?

I don't recall this being received well. Haven't heard much of it since Frog's reveal actually. In fact this looks like something a clueless parent would bring home to their kid "The guy at the store said this was manga" who would no doubt be disappointed. Inspired by could work for something like this, but it looks more like a car insurance commercial style, than Manga.

My point being it doesn't look manga, and probably shouldn't be marketed as such, unless it's Keung Lee producing it.
So Go all in on Manga, or inspired by? Is the answer somewhere in between? I don't really know. It's thankfully not as pervasive a trend as westerns, Vampires, and Werewolves at least.
