I still have no clue what a radian is but a charging handle is self-explanatory, and I can understand that a white line on a gun means too much of some substance (mortar apparently) is going on there.

Thanks guys (and gals if there are any). Keep it up.
Radian is a measurement of angle defined by the circumference of the circle ( u = 2*π*r).
Say r=1, then half the circumference is π ( u = 2*π). So π radians equal 180°, 1/2*π radians 90° and so on.
A miliradian is a measure of arc, like degrees are. However it’s much smaller and more precise. It equates to 1 meter of width at a thousand meters of distance.
As the name implies: 1 milliradian = 1/1000 radian.
Edited for added Autism! 360 degrees equates to 6283.185 miliradians. It’s an extremely precise measurement used for long range marksmanship and artillery.
But normally you round to 6400(NATO mil), for easier calculation in your head, no? At least on the fly, with scopes and what not.

Anyway, pretty sure Radian is a manufacturer for guns/parts in this case and not the measurement of angle lol

Neat. Looks like around 130 where they are.
So what does this mean/equate to? Like I don't know much about putting wells in.

Welp. Remember what I said about Phil/Penny having good ideas but going half-ass at establishing them? We got Home & Garden Troonivision as an official arc now. I wonder if they're on an LLC because if not that's a big whoopsies if when they fuck something up.

Is anyone here a home contractor ot construction worker or have experience with it? C'mon I know we gotta have one this thread has everything.

Not in home construction exactly, but I'm a landscaper in the summer season, and I can tell you right now, that I'd rather have someone I can trust on my crew over someone with ability. Both are important, of course, but ability can be taught, while good fucking luck teaching someone how to be trustworthy. He's doing what he always does - setting himself up to fail.

That's normal operation but sometimes you will get a case stuck in the chamber due to poor quality ammo, lack of proper cleaning, or the ghost of Eugene Stoner just doesn't like you that day.

Gun Heat will do it too, especially if you have a combination of LQ ammo and LQ upper and have let it get dirty (i.e. Pumping out a lot of rounds - explicitly if you are doing an all day range day in hot summer sun you may start seeing increased misfeeds).

The thing broke because it was Chinesium. It was after-market purchased by a moron who paid to have his cock cut off because "If your AR stops you need something your big, beefy, totally woman like meatpaws can grip to eject the stuck round" aka Tacticool LARPing shit that doesn't do anything than let you swing your dick around at the range and pretend to be a SEAL.

If you are in a situation you need extra ergonomics on your charging handle, you have already fucked up irrecoverably.

It's called the forward assist and is a subject of some debate among AR enthusiasts; the only thing it helps with is a partial feed (bullet doesn't go all the way into the chamber). Tapping the forward assist can chamber a partially chambered bullet, but it is useless for any other type of malfunction. Personally, I have never used it and probably never will.

We were taught in BCT to tap the foward assist before qualification sequences started to make sure your bolt is all the way forward and round is seated. It was hard to tell if this was some new TRADOC experiment, a placebo 'good luck' ritual to calm down nervous people, DS fucking with us... or maybe all of the above. (we were told not to bother with it in a real shooting situation except as part of SPORTS if we jammed malfunctioned), but since I'm only shooting my AR on the range (and at work/school) where I am lining up my shot before I squeeze, to this day when I load a fresh mag I always tap the Goodluck Button before going hot.

(Sorry Kiwi complaining about gun sperging, this is preaching to the choir here and its not worth trying to explain all that)

Would alpaca shit contain e coli or is that human-only?
E. coli is in everything which is why you wash vegetables before you eat them. Herbivore manure is usually a good fertilizer but you can’t count on the bacteria not surviving.

Are they really not doing anything with the animal shit except letting it sit there?

… okay, that was a stupid question.

I figured. That's why people who eat veggies straight out of the garden dirt weird me out.

If they have grown the vegetables themselves and know what’s on them they’re probably fine. It’d be pretty unusual to get sick from vegetables grown in say, household compost or something I think.

If they’ve been letting their cows shit on their vegetable patch then yeah, that’s probably not wise.

(Any farmers here welcome to correct me)

Herbivores avoid not only their own shit but the shit of any other herbivores in the area (pigs are an exception, if you consider them to be herbivores. Most farmers don't, as thankfully they'll eat almost anything that moves slowly enough).
It's why you run a chain harrow over a pasture before you let it stand unused for a couple months. Breaks up the shit clumps and lets them rot and be washed into the soil. You don't do that, not only are you wasting perfectly good free fertilizer but you wind up with a field of grass tussocks the animals won't touch around aging piles of shit, interspersed with bare ground.

Regarding water depth there - 130 feet isn't much. For an idea of how easily fecal bacteria spreads, septic tank leech fields must be at least 150 feet from the wellhead, regardless of well depth.

Okay not to derail too hard but just rinsing off your veggies doesn't do jack shit other than remove some surface chemicals. I've never heard of someone who homesteads getting sick from their own veggies (meat is another ballpark though). It's probably worse to be eating veggies sprayed with god knows what pesticide grown in ambiguous conditions at an unknown location than it is to pick out a potato from one of your potato containers, brush it off, and eat it during harvest. this is especially true of container grown veggies or and hydro/aquapoinics

They grow weed. They grow the fuck out of weed. Infact, I think that's the only thing they grow outside of Kevin& Jen's nerd hoard.

I'm not an expert by any means, I don't even have the max cape in RuneScape for gardening yet, but I this is just from my personal experiences as well as online. Basically something something nitrogen cycle something something is how compost and nutrition for plants work (in aquapoinics/hydroponics the fish/turtle waste or fertilizer takes the place of the compost)

Wanting a Trans-haven ranch, spontaneously using mom and dad money to buy ranch for this.
Was it ever confirmed that Walt & Anahid financed the ranch? I thought that Phil sold his house to provide initial funding?

They have a well. Wells have sump pits (or are literal pits thenselves if they are shallow enough/old enough). Surface water leaches into the sump pit and then into the well water, it's something that can't be helped. Their entire land surface is covered in alpaca shit.

I don't think there is much of a mystery about abdominal pains here.
Oh noooo, I didn't realise they sourced their water on site, surely they treat their drinking water.
Who am I kidding HAHAHAHAHA

Edit: sounds like they are pulling from 40m depth which sounds fine to me.

Also, I bet their new home and garden reno business is Cash Only.

The house he sold was a property his parents gave him iirc. Either that or "family friend". Either way it was a gift. So selling it is basically samefag. I think earlier ITT we spergged on the location and ownership history. I know for sure it wasn't 100% his bought with his own money. (Nor was the ranching part that was also grifted and I've posted proof of that).

This is Tranch 1 that is.

Tranch 2 (current Tranch) is under name and ownership of Sky & Bonnie. Bonnie bought it because his mother's name was on the lease as well meaning she likely gave him money OR did it as a credit saver for them.

We have people in Bongland called Train Spotters. There are also Plane Spotters and Bus Spotters (I think Amy Petrelli might pretend to be a Bus Spotter so he can take pictures of school children but I digress).
They write out long lists of numbers pertaining to the particular vehicle they are obsessed with and compare them with other Spotters. It's important to get times, weather conditions, destinations and all other irrelevances exactly correct, it is literal autism.

And yet, to a fat, balding, middle-aged, bespectacled, rotten-toothed man they are all way more fucking interesting than all the gun sperging in this thread.

It was confirmed that Phil rented ranch 1 from a family member.

On a podcast appearance (I think it was the Socialist Rifle podcast?) he claimed to have sold his house and lived in Walt & Anahid’s basement prior to starting the ranch with money from the sale of his house. Prior to that, he lived in a duplex with his sister that he claimed to own in his old blog.

However, according to public records which I linked in an earlier post, the duplex was (and still is) in Walt & Anahid’s name. If Phil didn’t own or pay for the duplex in any capacity, though, it doesn’t really explain why he would move from a free 3-bedroom apartment into his parents’ basement.

Why would you brag about working 100 hour weeks? That 14 hours a day, with no off days. I would never hire someone like that, their work will be sloppy and they will be a danger to themselves and their coworkers. But what am I saying! If it wasn’t a lie it would be totally Tranch!
Murican work sentiments often asspat people for going in sick, tired, overworking, side hustles etc. When it become downright dangerous to yourself and others. As long as a culture ass pats people for this shit it will continue.

Also it becomes double funny giving how Kev & Jen live. They don't do shit (except when Jen eats it). The "chores" are basically what you'd give to a grade schooler. The boys just play with their vidya, plastic, boardgames, and cards.

Penny is truly the working single Dad lifestyle.
